any non english speaker would still beat this horse because audio transcription only works if you are an english speaker.

Is there any way to adjust how much silence it leaves behind? Like I want long silences to be cut to be much shorter silence, but I don't want an instant jump. I also want very short silences to not be cut at all.
That's why I bought Recut. It does exactly what you are saying and can export a timeline to Resolve in like 2 seconds.
