You just saved me so much time with the ducking feature. I know about the automated one, but I usually do it manually. I didn't realize you could make a selection like that! Thanks! As a Resolve tutorial creator myself, you're one of my favorite channels in our genre to watch!
Heck yeah! likewise dude. I learn a lot from you.
@@CreativeVideoTips Awesome to hear that! Cheers!
These are great tips, thank you. I'm a believer that good audio makes for a great video, sadly it's the last thing some people consider when they're finalizing their videos. Fairlight is such a powerful tool and needs more great tips and tutorials for content creators.
Really good tips! No much talking around the topic, just straight to the point! Thank you!
This is awesome!! Quality info, clear and succinct!!
Fairlight is easily the page in Resolve I need the most work on, so this segment was super helpful. Coming from Audition, these videos are exactly what I need. Thanks for this!
I think I've watched this 10 times this week going back to the things I didn't remember, good job digital friend. I appreciate it!
Great video again! I’m new to editing in Da Vinci and you’ve helped make it so much easier! Keep the tips coming!
Thanks Steven, I have so much more to share. I appreciate ya.
That was a truly informative, to-the-point tutorial. Subscribed!
These tips are fantatstic, man!
Fantastic tutorial Chadwick! Thank you
Thank you so much for sharing your expertise. I’ve just started my first channel and I’m learning how to do each step of production solo. I really appreciate your clarity!
Those are perfect tips. Especially the audio stacking, helps me a lot. Thank you.
Happy to help!
I've been searching for days to get some quick fire tips on how to improve audio on my videos. This video has been superb. Informative, snappy, relavant. Subbed. 👍
Dude your video just made my day. I'm pretty new to fairlight, editing my first proper project at the moment. The points you made in this one video were literally just what I needed. Cheers 🍻
good content. straight to the point
Chadwick you legend! Yet another banger... Thanks a ton bro, super helpful tips
One of the best Davinci channels anywhere... thank you
Wow! Thank you!! Great info!!
🤯 This video is amazing. I'm just starting with DR and some of these tips made my jaw literally drop. Great stuff!
Another great set of useful tips in Resolve! I’m happy I found your channel and subscribed, you have helped me become more familiar with resolve and it’s features, helping me to get better with the editing. Keep up the great work!
Great presentation and info and energy
great tutorial, I love to learn more about the fairlight page
Dude, it's more and more complicated to find quality content on CZcams (raw and efficient information shared by passionate people, like in the beginning of CZcams) the majority of content creators come to make blabla to fit the formats and frameworks imposed by CZcams, but you, I don't know, you manage to combine everything, the guidelines of your channel, the tips you give in each video, everything is always right on target, hats off! You're channel is of public use ahah and so my first super thanks is for you.
Wow! Julien thank you! Your generosity and encouraging words made my week. I've been quiet for several months on here because of a move, but planning new content today and would love to hear what you'd like to learn or struggle with in Resolve.
Switching from priemer to davinci resolve. Just subscribed. The colorgrading is out of this world so far
i probably should have watched this before working on my project. i spent so long keyframing my music to lower to let dialogue through. what a great tip, thankyou!! now i know for next time
Thank you 🙏🏾 super clear and helpful tips.
So many awesome tips, thanks.
WOW! Automatic Keyframe Ducking & Loudness Normalization were game changers! I used to take a much longer approach to normalization, doing it manually with the limiter to reach -14 & -1 peak, but this is WAY faster!
I just started learning editing with Davinci a few weeks ago and your video's are SUPER helpful! I've made a play list of so many of them to come back to once I get deeper into the software. I really like the hot-key list you put in the outro as well, thanks!
That's awesome to hear John. Don't be a stranger on here to suggest or ask questions. The hot-key notes at the end was because of a suggestion someone made just a couple weeks ago. I think that will be a regular thing moving forward.
Great tutorial. I've learned a lot of fairlight. Thank you!
Great! Thank you!
Dude what on earth, your channel is pure gold, there's so much good stuff in so many videos I feel like I need to dust off my notepad. Thank you!
Thanks so much for your kind words and encouragement.
Loving channel so much!
Kudos. I actually learned something in your video as opposed to others I just watched. Thanks for putting in the hard work.
Glad it was helpful!
Watches 5 vids. U got my sub. Best DaVinci tutorials with focus on what's important and good speed as well as visuals. Love it. You're doing it perfectly right ^^
Rrrrrrealy love the Automatic Keyframe Ducking Tipp. Great Content. Thank You very much.
Great Video, Thanks Chadwick
Hey thanks so much Darren. I appreciate ya'!
Awesome stuff
Hello from Malaysia. Thank you for the helpful tips, dude. Really appreciate it. I'm transitioning from Pro Tools as my main audio post solution and the learning curve is a bit steep. These types of videos really helps me get through it easier. Looking forward to more contents from you.
I switched to resolve last month and your videos are so amazing. I've been going through the Blackmagic training but if I need something quick, I can always count on you. Thanks for the work you put into these videos and I am a forever fan!
I also switched to resolve last month from Adobe :) your videos are great... This is a amazing video and tips :)
Thank you for great tips!
Man. You are the best. We all owe you.
I love the ducking tip. I do all my ducking manually, that is without the compressor send trick. This is really going to speed things up. Thanks
Holy cow, 3rd video in a row and its peak knowledge. Amazing tips!!
keep goin man, you doing great
Thanks for another great video Chadwick 👌 I learn so much from you that I've struggled to figure out of in the past and more. Keep the great content coming 🙌
Thanks for watching again :) I'm just excited to share things I have found helpful myself.
That’s brilliant thanks a lot
Short and clear, vey useful, thank you
The audio selection and volume change... man you'll save me a ton of time. I spend hours levelling out audio. ❤
Heck yeah. Glad it was helpful. Now only if we could do that on the edit page.
awesome!! I had forgotten about thes fantastic tips
for the Fairlight page...you rock 🔥🤟👊
You rock!
Chadwick, you're amazing. Thank you.
Sweet!
I like how you packaged all this info :)
How have I not known about the range selection tool auto keyframes before now... life changing!
Thank you for these knowledge! Please keep them coming! Just subscribed!
Thank you. You are one of the few people who tells me *useful* stuff that I didn't know. Your shortcuts are like someone telling you how to use a keyboard after you have spent years mouse clicking a picture of one on the screen.
Thanks Neil! I'm glad you have found some of the tips helpful. These are all things I've found the most useful so it's cool to hear they are for you too. Cheers.
Tip #7 is amazing!
Thank you!
Amazing video-tutorial! Very useful instructions, thank you for sharing!
These are great tips; thank you! 😀👍
Super helpful. Thanks!
Thank so much for watching Daniel.
I think I love you dude. THANK YOU
The Master!!! Always and I mean ALWAYS learn something new from you!
Before long, I bet I'll be learning new things from you Miguel. I seriously love this whole resolve community and thankful you are a part of it here on creative video tips!
Great teacher, awesome channel, thank you!
Thanks again for the great content Chadwick. We focus so much on the image and when it comes to Audio it is difficult to find good tutorials. Plus, you're editing in a cool, easy-to-learn style
Thanks again for watching and the encouragement! It makes me happy to hear great people like you are also interested in making videos sound better too.
Awesome! Keep going homie!
Thanks! Will do!
This video is awesome. The info is great, but I want to tell you about the picture. It's just superb! The framing, the room, the light, what's in focus, what is out of it. How much it is in focus and how blurry (I love it's not blown out, just out of focus) the background is. Both the face, the keyboards are in focus. Man! MAN!!! It's so good. So relaxed, simple and clean. Thank you! That's a taste!
btw, how did you achieve this picture? Did you remove your monitor for the recording? what's the focal distance? what's the aperture number? I want to have mine like that man :)
Thank you!!!
Fantastic info
Best dood. You know he's legit coz he treats sound as important as video. As a noob I love it. respect
Thanks for these info
Your tutorial videos are always amazing, Chad!
Thanks so much for watching Gavin.
Thank you so much, I’m learning tNice tutorials in quarantine and you made it very simple I really appreciate it, thank you for going over every little
Hey thanks for your video. I appreciate the tips. Definitely, helps a lot!
Great stuff, thank you
Easily one of THE best channels for DR! Thanks, Chadwick, for educating us! =)
So awesome! I'm still learning the ropes in Resolve after 3 years jumped from Premiere.
Wow, great tips!!
These are some super useful tips that I haven't seen elsewhere. Subscribed!
i cannot thank you enough for these great time saving tips 👍😍
Thanks Arnab! Which one do you think is the most helpful or new to you? I might try to repurpose one as a CZcams short.
Tip 3 and 7 aer going to help me a lot. Thank you so much
I clicked to casual learn, I left much much wiser.
Thank you so much for making this!
fantastic tutorial thanks a million...
You're welcome! Thanks for being here. I appreciate you.
Thanks a lot for the amazing tips!🙏🏻 Using it already!;)
OMG didn't know tip 3 existed. That's gonna save me A LOOOOOT of time!!!! THANKS!!!
This is another great video from you. I'm going to save it in my "stuff I need folder" so I can refer back to it. Thanks. 👍👍
Glad it was helpful! Hey I'm not going to lie, sometimes I need to refer to my old notes myself on how to do certain things in this program. Thanks for watching.
Always excellent!
Thanks Joseph, that track organization thing got added to the edit page edit index and is something I'm using everyday now.
@@CreativeVideoTips yeah I’ve seen that; very cool!
the fairlight page is pretty underrated ! people dont realize how powerful it is ! Thank you for showing these
Hi from 🇨🇭! Great video!
Bro!!! Love your tutorials! They have truly changed my editing life for the better! In one day I have learned more from your videos than studying other tutorials here on CZcams! Truth is, there are some people who are teachers and then there are others who are instructors. Teachers take their time and are very detailed and patient because they care about their students learning. That's you bro! Keep shining your light! Oh, and keep wearing the NY hats...#reppinNY4lifeyo
The ducking feature! Omg I was doing this manually it was simple enough but this is soooooo much better. Thank you!
Love it - How cool would it be if we could get that on the edit page too? Anyways thanks for kind words and watching!
Subscribed. Thanks Chadwick!
It is so good to see your videos Chadwick again. As I continue to struggle with audio mixes, I watch this video and think, WOW, just what i needed. You sir are a ROCK STAR.
Kevin
Glad to help! My posting schedule will be a little spotty for next month or two still. I'm moving to New York so my life is a little unstructured at the moment. But I have so much to share and can't wait to get it out there.
@@CreativeVideoTips it is always good to see you. Have a safe move.
This is an awesome video. You are a legend.
You are - thanks so much for watching.
works great
thanks for watching Tim
I always appreciate your videos but just wanted to drop a quick note today to praise your general approach to making them. Your humble, focused, no-nonsense style is very refreshing. No petty begging for likes or awkward interruptions. The content is always on point. No gimmicks. Just excellent tips and education that is clear, practical and useful! I hope you can find a way to make this work for you in the long run, so you can keep putting these out for all of us. Great stuff Chadwick!
You made my morning. I really appreciate these kind words more than you know. My posting frequency is dropping over the next couple months because I'm actually in the middle of a move across the country, but have every intention to keep teaching more regularly as soon as I'm settled. I'm not planning on going away ;) My list of notes and tutorials I can't wait to make is piling up. Thanks again!
@@CreativeVideoTips No worries at all! I prefer to watch videos from practitioners with real world experience, who don't need to make a video every week to "feed the algorithm". Good luck with the move!
How have I not seen this yet?! Awesome information for a fledgling Resolve user!
Great tips bro! Regards from Bulgaria!
chad .. i love you bro.
(no homo)
seriously whenever am looking for any tip , if i found you on the results list i COMPLETELY IGNORE the rest of the results and click on your video RIGHT AWAY !!
you're the man !!
Audio ducking tips is magic (all others too !) thanks ! Video saved to bookmarks ;-)
Man...the sample level audio repair just blew my mind!
It's pretty great. I don't use it often, because it can take some time and be tedious but it is so helpful it's there.
Will be following
I appreciate ya Edwin!
Dude... Great video! Got a new subs
