  • Ask any dog lover, and they will tell you that all doggos are sweet, adorable, and worthy of our love and ownership. The problem is, not all dogs are legal in all countries. Some come with restrictions or are downright banned. From Tosa Inu banned for its history to wolf dogs illegal for obvious reasons, here are 15 most illegal dog breeds in the world.

We had a purebred Siberian Husky. Our adult son got him when he was discharged from the 82nd Airborne. He was super friendly, affectionate, very gentle and well behaved with young children. We took him to obedience school when we got him and outside of the usual young husky energetic and at times frenetic silliness was easy to handle as he matured. He loved to sing and talk with us and had a big fan club in our neighborhood. I only heard him growl at 2 people his entire life and considering who they were he was a very good judge of character. He refused to live our house until he was almost 10 years old and would sleep out in his dog house of under the snow in the winter. Arthritis finally convinced him that the people house would be a tolerable residence. We put him down him in June of 2020 at the ripe old age of 14 years, 4 months and 27 days. We miss him every day.

I agree...I grew up with German Shepherds... that's mainly what we had... they would NEVER hurt me or my Brother... but ... they are VERY protective... and will usually attack without warning to someone who they don't know... if they come on to their property...I find this a good trait...I ALWAYS felt safe around them... we even had one that was half German Shepherd half wolf

I know there are 2 towns in pa that require registrations for them cause people are stupid and put them in the pitbull category. but this list counts restrictions as bans

Most of my childhood was filled with German Shepherds. They are so loyal, beautiful, and intelligent. The only downside I would really mention is that new people get nervous around them because they like to chase, and If someone is running, they will likely follow. They are also very protective even if what they are protecting you from is play fighting. I would happily own another if I had the time to devote to them.

I had a Rhodesian , she was loveable and alert. I once parked my car block away from home and wanted to sneak up on my dog and scare her. I looked and looked and could not find her. That twerp had been jumping into my home through 15 foot high window and going to nap on my bed. I had to make pretend I was mad and kicked her out with a smile. I had wondered why my B.O was so strong on my bed haha lol.

Time to go , girl ? and sat down and she leaned on my lap and passed away soon after. I have had a Symoiion husky whith the bexception of the long white hair she was a good dog, And of course Ive had a ncouple very good German Shepherds the worst one was an adopted middle aged farm dog that was hard to change some bad habits, but good dog just the same. You are absolutely right about their masters. The master must raise them right and give them lots of people and pet time with others.

Even the narrator is bent on keeping up the "cute and snuggles" patter . I dislike the dog fighting idea but it is a fact of current life and history. You don't get wimpy pups off such breeds. As for banning/restrictions: I've seen worse behavior( biting, aggression, fighting) in a Skye Terrier than most of these large dogs.

I own a German shepherd mix. He’s a great friend and loyal to his family, but we think he was abused when he was little and wasn’t socialized so he has a aggressive behavior towards strangers and kids

We have a mastiff mix and hes powerful
I walk him but not usually alone because if he sees a dog he likes or doesn't like hes hard to hold back
He weighs more than me I'm his mom he would protect mme but will also pull me down the road on ice
