It's interesting you say it can't do hand tracking and that remote desktop isn't any good for productivity. Looks like I am commenting 13 days after this video was released but my q3 has hand tracking and using virtual desktop, the screen is plenty good enough for freecad, music software and I can use lightroom in it.

Mixed reality on the Quest3 is for me good enough. Of course I would like it to be better, but I can see everything. I watch movies with my Quest3 and also with my Pico4 and for that, passthrough is good enough. I don't need to pay 3000$ more to get that part better. By the way, I also think that when I watch my PC via Virtual Desktop, I'm very happy with the sharp image I can see. Not 4K of course, but good enough. Again, not willing to spend 3000 $ more to see 4K.

Fact is, Mark is 100% right... Well maybe 98%. The Quest 3 is a better product for most people who want to use VR right now. If you want a better more available ecosystem, more gaming and entertaining capabilities, and shared experiences, Quest 3 is the better product. If you Apple based productivity, AVP might be a good choice. But for the general customer, Q3 is the best. Just facts.
