    I'm a 21 year old superfan of Corrie and i have to say that these episodes are vintage! Pat Phoenix was such a fast speaker- every scene she's in she paints a smile on my face. Along with Ena Sharples!

      I'm 72 and grew up there among great and real people, and I miss it now. I've got a nicer house with a big garden and a car. But I haven't got a community I belong in. Salford was a place made great by its people in that time. Nobody was alone. I'd like to go back ,but it has been destroyed.

    My favourites are Elsie, Ena, Minnie, Martha, Annie and Jack; such characters and actors that portray them well.

    Thanks so much for these. I think ITV2 or some channel should start them from the start every night or even every Wed and Fri - and run through - def superior to current.

    Great to see these episode, life in the 60s, price of things in pounds, shillings and pence and I love those elaborate hairstyles!

    "Water's coming out of everywhere, except the taps" 😄 Classic Corrie was a masterpiece in writing, compared to the modern era. Although to me it died in the late 80's and has been a rotten corpse ever since..such a shame really👍👍

    Albert Tatlock,s paying rent money, and in future episodes he tells ken barlow whose living with him that he owns his house?

    • @Thefan
      @Thefan  Před rokem +4

      Unless he has taken out a mortgage in between, I think he might be fibbing about owning his house...
