It's not an Olympic bar. The tensile strength of a powerlifting bar is far greater then one used in Olympic lifting. They are build as best they can be within the rules not to bend. However the weight is getting to a point where for the larger weight classes and for geared lifting, a heavier 25kg bar might need to be brought in to stop the bending and whipping of the bar.

The reason is because the IPF wants to get powerlifting into the olympics and of several points of contention with the IOC one they repeatedly spoke of is not being fans of monolifts and similar racks. They would just rather pull the squat racks they already use for oly lifters warming up, onto the stage, which is essentially what rack IPF already uses.
