Inyokern Airport (KIYK) | WHERE’S TRANSIENT PARKING | Inyokern, California

Fly with us into hot and sunny Inyokern Airport on Runway 33. Fluctuating temperatures and wind can be expected here most days.
Transient Parking can be found south of the terminal. There is plenty of transient parking some with chain tie downs and others without. When in doubt bring your own tie downs!
Take some time to explore the giant WWII hangar near the fuel pump where Top Gun Maverick (Tom Cruise) was filmed with his P-51.
The abandoned terminal is in great condition and is now a film set used for various commercials and movies, make sure to take a peek inside.
Reasonably priced self-serve avgas is available and adjacent to the transient parking area.
A small Pilots Lounge with wi-fi, snacks and drinks for sale and a restroom is available just west of the transient parking. This is a great spot to take a break from the heat, there is air conditioning!
There was no pricing listed for overnight parking and no indication of where to pay.

As far as editing, I use Davinci Resolve Studio. We are hoping to make the vids even better by using more of Davinci’s features but it’s been a great software so far.
