Slalom Borgo Tossignano 2024 Highlights - Coppa Romagna - Lancia Delta. Ape Proto, Lancer, A112, etc

- I had the pleasure of filming the second edition of the Borgo Tossignano Slalom, a motoring event scheduled during the "Borgo Motori" weekend, which for the second year saw the town near Imola invaded by car enthusiasts, off-road vehicles and much more. The race is part of the 2024 Coppa di Romagna calendar made up of 7 stages and saw the presence of around a hundred crews with vehicles of all types, from small Abarth A112s and Peugeot 106s to rally cars, Ape Protos, formula cars and actual prototypes designed for this type of racing. It was a very well-organized race, which saw a total of 4 climbs, one test and three officials, and was won by Daniele Giannini at the wheel of the Radical SR3. Second place for Luca Mazzarri on Proto 1.0 and third step of the podium for Enrico Digani on Kart Cross. I must thank my friend and CZcamsr @davide458italia, with whom I collaborated to create this video. Enjoy! 😉
Ho avuto il piacere di filmare la seconda edizione dello Slalom Borgo Tossignano, manifestazione motoristica programmata durante il weekend "Borgo Motori" che per il secondo anno ha visto la cittadina vicina ad Imola invasa da appassionati di auto, fuoristrada e tanto altro. La gara fa parte del calendario Coppa di Romagna 2024 formato da 7 tappe ed ha visto la presenza di un centinaio di equipaggi con veicoli di tutti i tipi, dalle piccole Abarth A112 e Peugeot 106, alle vetture da rally, Ape Proto, formulini e veri prototipi studiati per questo genere di corse. Gara molto ben organizzata ha visto in totale disputarsi 4 salite, una di prova e 3 ufficiali ed è stata vinta da Daniele Giannini al volante della Radical SR3. Secondo posto per Luca Mazzarri su Proto 1.0 e terzo gradino del podio per Enrico Digani su Kart Cross. Un grande grazie all'amico e CZcamsr @davide458italia con cui ho collaborato alla realizzazione del video. Buona visione! 😉

I used to watch these races whenever they were televised. They quit showing these events on Speed TV a long time ago. I also used to watch DTM from Australia.
That looks like a blast! You must have had a lot of fun. Got to smell some burning rubber and see some really cool race cars. You are truly living the dream.
We still have Pikes peak and some other great hill climbing here, though. Love watching Rhys Millen flying up that hill in a speed monster.
Pikes Peak is one of those races that I have always dreamed of seeing and filming. I hope one day to come to the USA for this reason (and also to see NASCAR, Indycar, Tractor Pulling, Monster Trucks and all those other spectacular motoring things in your country) 🖐
@@Italiansupercarvideo you would love it. I will say this, it is not the way it use to be. Most of the series are to commercialized and not family friendly the way it use to be, but still worth seeing. I have a friend living in Austin where the F1 track is. He wants me to come visit so we can catch up and go to the race. Unfortunately, I can no longer stand to fly. Who knows what the future will bring. Only God can heal me and get me there.
You could visit one of the state fairs to see a lot of these events. I loved going to the Indiana State Fair and seeing everything. Cotton candy, corn dogs, cheese curds, chocola milk, tractor pulls, sprint cars and many other delights are waiting at many state fairs. Indy has multiple events now. I know Pentske owns the Indy Speedway now, so I must imagine there have been some improvements made. The museum, golf course and loads of other things have probably been worked on. You would not believe how big the track is. It used to hold 425,000 people every year.

@@kimwarfield1587 Thank you for this information. Also, country and state fairs are gigantic compared to the Italian ones in your country. I'm used to going to events with 100,000/150,000 people, but over 400,000 is a crazy thing to conceive; in America, everything is big...

@Italiansupercarvideo thank you, I appreciate it. I have communicated a lot with folks from other countries, and they visit and are blown away by the size of things here. It is a shame we have such abundance yet - we still have areas in this country where people starve and live on the street. The devide between wealthy and poor is widening here because of too liberal policies. I can only give when I can. Some folks choose to live on the street, but more don't choose it. They simply lose their homes because of the high cost of living. I live in Southern California, San Diego County. We have the best weather in the world, hands down, but the cost of being here is so high. I pay $1200 US to live in my studio apartment. Only San Francisco is more expensive, and maybe parts of New York can be more expensive, like Central Park West. Hawaii is also very expensive. The weather isn't as good as ours, though.
I hope you get a chance to visit. I enjoy watching podcasts on Italy. There is one from a couple living in Maine. She is Italian, and they compare food we have here to authentic Italian dishes. They also filmed their trip to her home in Italy. There is another guy that has a pizzeria. He shows how to make Italian pizza. He also filmed his trip home and did some videos from two of his friends, pizzeria in Italy.

I watch many different channels, and one Italian guy who lives and works in the United States shows real America, not only in cinema but also in rural areas of the central areas and poverty. Even in Italy and Europe, things have changed significantly and worsened in the last 30 years. Unfortunately, wrong policies, such as Italy's entry into the single currency of the Euro and many wrong choices, such as the relocation of companies, have increased poverty more than ever since the end of the Second World War. As you can see, America and Europe have many things in common.

@@enricocelani8292 No, non saprei che motore abbia. La Catheram se non sbaglio montava i Ford Duratec da 2.0-Litri ed anche il 2.3 Cosworth da 260cv. La base dunque era già ottima, se poi lo si elabora o gli si mette su un bel turbo grosso, l'auto diventa un siluro come questa 😅

Si, nei prototipi è abbastanza frequente se non una consuetudine, avere l'unico posto al centro della vettura per questione di guidabilità, peso, visuale, ecc, ecc.
La Delta è l'unica cosa buona da vedere
