@ManoharBatra I am 2008 Batch passout...at the time of Lehman brothers crash and economicrecession... 3.10 lpa was the salary in 2008.... This salary was implemented in 2007 before that it was 2.5 lpa for 2006 batch what I have heard from my seniors

Conditions in India is going worst and worst firstly huge competition then due to jobs are less , people are more and I am working from past 4 years of Business analyst, worst life balance is going worst and worst... Right now ...and Target mnc and then go wherever you want. Now many of friends are applying along with me keep applying because calls are less just apply more and more
MNC me bi genuine managers ni rhte .. they play good politics games with your carrier even their skills are 30% in front of their juniors... too good answers Manohar. 👍
Everybody talks about starting package as 3.5 lpa which i agree is less and IT companies should think about ....but nobody talks about how all the same IT person earns and get 5-6x hikes after switches and reaches to packages of 20+ lpa within 3-4 year...which is quite decent imho...also not to forget people save more than 1-2 lakh per month if a person goes onsite which still is very difficult in india to save even with good salaries because of our taxation system...so imho we should raise concern about the starting salaries but as a whole we should appreciate how IT has transformed everybody lives ...and real estate and other dependent sectors have also transformed in metropolitan areas...
I started from 7500 rs monthly only in PCS technology Delhi currently after 10 years 32 lpa package …. There are very less jobs in current situation ..

I think all we want is to earn money in any way possible except doing wrong things we should always be open to everything, problem comes when we program ourselves in a way that we will be earning money ater this or that degree, and reject opportunities by ourselelves and end up doing the wrong thing
Saturation is also one of the primary reasons that all students are not getting job, as everyone is going after full-stack or mern stack development in a way that no other thing exist to do. There are a lots of other domain in which we can explore ourselves more like data analyst, data engineering, data scientist, mobile app development and many more apart from web development.
Exactly what i see in my friend circle and in clg students that everybody is doing Full stack web dev 🤯 i mean wtf guys is the only thing in IT to do and when i say about different tech domains they be like they are not interested and I'm highly interested in other domains like u said data analysis cloud and AI/ML and more rather than full stack
@@girlysh09 Every domain is important at it’s own, it’s just that people are going after web dev because it is a straight forward path and think that this is the only thing to do, why we do AI / ML because we have to learn a lot of things in that, so we should go for web dev as we don’t want to do anything in that.
And listen if you are willing to explore AI / ML / DA / DS then you should go for that.

Business line has always more and more scope of living a life....... Naukri dhang se samay pr sahi company mein lge tabhi thik otherwise samay ki barbaadi hai.....
Yeh sab TCS infy Wipro ibm Accenture yehi ghatiya company ka naukri pr itrana nhin chahiye....
Ha to business bhi vaisa hi to hai. Har kisi ka business accha chale he jaroori to nahi. 95% business tikte nahi. Baki bache me se bhi 90% kaise to survive karte hai
Business mein gand marrake kaam karna padta hai. Mere bade bhai ki shop hai aur mein wahi kaam karta hu.. din mein 17 ghante kaam aur saal mein ek bhi chutti nahi..Job bhi kiya hai meine aur salary sirf 4.5Lpa tha. Lekin mein job mein zada khush rehta hai. Hafte mein 2 din chutti mil jati hai.

I have started 17k peon of government service now after 9 year 43k after 1 yr it will touch after MACP 50k. Working hours 9 to 3 effectively sometimes I also look outward that I could earn more in other job but nowadays I think it doesn't matter. If I control my expenses even if this salary I can manage basic needs.

Many companies expect experienced candidates with 3+ years of experience, while those with less experience are often offered positions with minimal pay, sometimes even below 15k, and may be required to work night shifts. Furthermore, there is a trend of newly emerging institutions hyping up the IT sector, leading to a flood of applicants within a short period, many of whom may not be qualified. Consequently, for every single job opening, there are thousands of applicants, making the competition fierce. Overall, the current job market situation in IT is dire, despite the sector experiencing a boom.
I am in the same boat and I am getting 5000 stipend for 6 months and then I will get 10000 rs as a salary in django profile

Its true that technology is evolving and with time leadership may demand to learn new technologies. Which i think must be taken as a kind of opportunity rather fearing about how I can coup up with the new tech. If technologies fascinates you, you will always find a sense of interest in learning new tech and who knows that might be a game changer for you in pursuing higher position with a decent package.
But i have a question why he is not upgrading skills/profile still or not upgrade his position like team lead/manager ??

I think the title could have been better. There is a lot of good advice regarding work life balance etc which was the focus of this talk and not "harsh reality of xyz". Also, please bring a (real) harsh reality of hiring from a freshers POV.

➡️ I started with 7200/- monthly which is 240/- per day which is 86,400/- year. mai 10 seater Auto mai jata tha jisme dehadi Wale log bhi jaate Thai Jo 500 din ka kamate thai. Mai bhi bohot sochta tha ki itna padai karke kya fayda jab ek mazdur bhi mere se jyada kamate hai.
➡️ Now I make 1,50,000/ monthly which is 5000/- per day which is 18,00,000/- year after 7 years of IT experience. 😊
➡️ Always focus on upgrading yourself and have confidence. Learn everyday a little bit.👍

One of my friend was working in Top MNC his mother was facing breast cancer & mu friend was sitting near ICU in hospital when his mother is getting treatment....then his manager called on phone and - Pls complete your work & he said there is an emergency situation & now he is in hospital with his mother.... at that time anu normal human would understand the situation but manager she said - Sirf ICU me hai na tumhari mom , Mari to nahi n ...kam nhi kr skte thik h atleast meeting to join kro ICU se...the manger she was a woman but didn't understand another woman condition.
Past 5 months I have taken 60 plus interviews, I was shocked to see that 90 percent of people are not having basic knowledge even the experience one

What's your take on such IT training institute who promises students and Non IT professionals that they will get guranteed job in IT if you join any course. Don't You think a lot of people burning there money to get job and what they get in there hand. either the job of 3 lpa or no job after investing a lot of money. what you will say for such people's struggles that they do in metro cities.

Sir I have a doubt actually I have 2 offers in my hand one is from tcs and another is from a small it company which is around 12 years old. Package at both is same 3.3 lpa. Which one should I go for?
Bro I don't have much experience but I faced a similar situation two years ago and I made a bad decision. I chose MNC over startup which I regret. If you choose MNC they will choose technology your career will start with and mostly they will assign you to ERP,crm, applications where learning is comparatively less. But if your startup is working with a good technology and you are sure that you will work on that same technology don't overthink just choose start up. Because in MNC you won't have the option to choose the technology which will have a huge impact in your career ahead. In MNC you might have comfort at start but in the longer run choosing startup would be beneficial
