I have a cabking 6 inch and a hi tech flat 6 in for 3 plus years. I tossed the lamp and replace the main unit once and the switch, and the wheels many times. I only do business with these guys. I get my wheels resurfaced. I only use their pumps. Best people and the best customer service I have run into. I have cut 500 plus cabs on this and the hi tech and will never get rid of it. There is some issues that do pop up, but for the most part I love their products

Is the basin metal? Just the guards and rest are plastic? If so I can make my own out of metal and bolt them on..

The basin, guards, and cover are all plastic. So far no issues with it. There is a comment on here where someone says they broke theirs fairly quick.
