- Continuing on from the previous video, here I will finally finish off with the car stereo at home project! that means we will installing the speakers and do an audio test. I have also swapped out the old Sony coaxial speakers for better Sony XS-XB6941 Extra Bass speakers.

PS: If you don't like Sony, go write them an E-Mail venting out your life frustration to them, want me to use your favourite brand sub or speakers? cool, feel free to BUY them and send them my way 😂 😎 any unnecessary hate comments or trolling will be removed. and just wanted to clear something out, the Corsair VS550 power supply has no issues running these 2 amps and the head unit and I have used up all the 12volt and ground wires on the power supply for maximum amperage, tested at nearly maximum volume the setup pulls about 340-360 watts when the bass hits as reported by the APC power chute software obviously subtracted the wattage draw of PC and monitor, the power supply gets warm, fan ramps up but the 12volt wires remain stone cold. But I am saving up for a Corsair CX series power supply, probably a 750 watt modular unit in the future for more reliability and scalability. And don't be one of those idiots who judge the quality of a sound system by listening to the sound on headphones recorded by tiny camera microphones.

Sony car stereo are awesome. Their DSPs enhance the audio to make it sound HiRes even from poor source like bluetooth.
You are my hero. Love your project. And thank you i was thinking for a long time to do it. You really inspired me. I have setup up my system. I had 90w kenwood speakers lying around and old 500 watt psu and car stereo reciever 45x4. I just hooked them together. They sound awesome, and they are loud enough to make my ears ring at full volume. Although i am thinking of buying an amp and 2 more speakers, and make them my party speakers.

Thank you, bro! I totally love this setup, It actually sounds a LOT better in person than on video, the vocals are crystal clear and the bass is solid! The best part is everything is modular, you can swap any component you like, mix and match stuff which you won't be able to do on a normal home audio system or a home theatre. But if you decide to go for a setup like mine vs a home theatre there are a few things you should know, firstly this car stereo does not support Dolby Digital which most home theatres do so its 2 channels playing on the front speakers and rear speakers and secondly whenever you switch off the power supply the car stereo forgets all settings and time!! So I just leave the PSU on all the time lol 😂

Are these magnetically shielded speakers? If not how come those are not affecting your monitor.. btw excellentt video !!
Thank you!! And I don't think these are magnetically shielded, haven't seen any mention of that on the box, it doesn't matter because LCD monitors are unaffected.

@@TechGuyCharlie Wow. Pioneer is an awesome brand but I am 12 and my parents are not so interested in Pioneer. They bought me 2 pioneer car subs and thats all it. My parents like Kenwood & Kicker mostly for car audio. My parents are only interested in LG XBOOMs for audio in the house. They got the LG CM4550 and LG CJ45. They replaced my JBL Charge 4 for an LG CJ45 :( I mean they are not bad but I would rather want a Pioneer theatre system. But atleast my parents have good subs & speakers I can do bass tests with

Corsair 550w power supply can able to power two amplifier and one head unit at full volume??? Please reply....
Well, for now, I did not face any issues with the power supply, it just gets warm to touch which is normal, wires remain cold and I have used up all the 12volt and ground wires on the power supply for maximum amperage. I did not max out the volume because I don't wanna blow my ears lol it becomes too loud after 33 volume, in the video I played the system back at 25 and it was damn loud. When I played the system at 33 volume it pulls about 340-360 watts from the wall as shown by UPS software on the computer, well within the limit of the power supply, still, though I am saving up for a 750-watt Corsair CX series because they are more reliable than VS series, trust me bro, get the Corsair CX power supply if you want your setup to really last long.
I am doing same . Is it important to go 550 watts? or lesser will do? And head unit as well ? I tried with myTVS . I think i heard a boom and my speakers are crackling now and so do any others i connect to the headunit 😄

Did you turn the beep setting to off or was there just no beep sound?
The unit beeps only when you use the built in amp on the head unit, there will be no beeps when you use external amps.

And is it okay for me to use a corsair 450W to power up the same unit and as well as the amp probably it'll be 300W or less.😊
Your complete setup is riggeed to single corsair 550😱?
Upgraded to 650!! 550 isn't enough at higher volume. Would recommend 1KW 80+ Gold power supply though.

Hey bro i too bought 4 speakers of jbl gto 609c for my car...i was thinking what amp would be best to run my 4 speakers setup and i came across your video...i am not going to get a sub so do you think 4 gto609c speakers will be enough bass in my swift ?
Yes but if you see on the data sheet for the frequency range its only hit until 53 hz, below that you still need a subwoofer
And i suggest dont buy 4 609c, but 1set gto 609c for the front and 1 set gto 629 for the back

If u want to use car speakers ...... Best way to use in near field .....
