Terrell Owens - Indoor Football Highlights

  • A compilation of some of Terrell Owens' highlights for the Allen Wranglers (now Texas Revolution) of the Indoor Football League in 2012. Despite being nearly 40 years old when he signed with the team, Owens still had some gas left in the tank. Still a force in the endzone during his brief stint for the Wranglers, Owens piled up double-digit touchdowns in only eight games while also being a partial owner of the team.
However, because of issues between Owens and the team, T.O was let go by the Wranglers shortly before the playoffs began. After a short stint with the Seahawks preseason roster later that year, Owens retired from professional football.
The games I used to take the clips from can be fond on the Indoor Football League's official CZcams channel (you'll have to do some digging though to find them): / indoorfootballleague

When it comes to videos, Indoor Football is on the more obscure side of things. But it's been a while since I've made a football video, and I've been on an Indoor/Arena football kick lately, so I decided to make this. Unlike some non-NFL football leagues (RIP AAF), the Indoor Football League has been able to survive for a decade. The players may not be the greatest, but the brand of football is exciting, and unlike other arena leagues, the running game is actually a thing in the IFL.
Owens' may've been washed up in terms of playing in the NFL, but he was still a dominant force in the Indoor Football League (when he wasn't being the annoying version of T.O). I'd love to have footage of all of his games from the broadcast angle, but all I had to work with was some wonky-looking video from a third-party site and these highlights I found from the official IFL channel.
If there's any arena or indoor football players who you'd like to see a video for, let me know! They need to be current or recent players, since I haven't been able to find video of Kurt Warner or Eddie Brown-era players. I'm thinking of making a Lenorris Footman or a Davonte Sapp-Lynch video soon, since they're both very exciting players. As always, I hope you enjoy the video, and let me know who you'd like to see next!

I love arena and indoor football! Expect to see some more videos spotlighting those leagues in the coming months (probably after the season is over).

I have at least ten minutes of OJ highlights (filmed from the overhead "broadcast view") sitting on my computer right now. One of these days I'll get around to editing them into a video.

This is sad, and not bcuz he's playing Indoor football. But bcuz TO ain't celebrating. And he not celebrating bcuz he know he can still make 35 catches 450 yds and 6-10 tds in the League,TODAY. He was definitely a malcontent in the NFL, but other than his last two stops (which are two franchises 9 yrs latter looking up at the better teams in the NFL CIN/BUF) his presence has ALWAYS improved a teams chances. Sad how they blk balled him.

I'm not sure a 45 year old T.O could put up those numbers, regardless of how great he was in his prime. As Charles Barkley says, father time is undefeated. T.O was not even good enough to make a CFL roster a few years ago.

PockyCandy TO definitely could put up those numbers this year, he’s still in great shape and has the speed, he still runs a 4.43 teams just don’t want to look crazy giving a 45 year old guy a shot if it doesn’t work out. He said recently he’d play if a team picked him up

@@edisnipes Yeah , but a 4.43 don't mean nothin if you ain't gettin tackled every year. At 45 you dont recover from weekly hits as fast as you did at 25.

@@SixTenVisuals yeah i think he would have to ease into contact very slowly, not even take full hits all training camp and summer until preseason and only play half the snaps he would usually. Its still risky and would hate to see an injury
