Your videos on refrigeration systems from basics to industrial size armonia operations and all kinds of chiller arrangements are truly something else. I expect to frequent this channel for years to come as I see a lot of content that will, without a doubt, be of importance in my career development. That aside, I bursted out laughing at the keyboard smash at 5:29. Thanks again for your dedication to making these videos.
Really nice to get a clear explaination of HVAC. My teacher was rushing through this cuz the whole course got reduced from 2 years down to 1,5 years time. So it was very rushed... Thanks youtube and the team of engineering mindset!
Hi Engineering Mindset. I enjoy your videos and im getting a lot of information out of them. Just one question regarding the Reciprocating, is it the same as semi-hermetic compressor?
Centrifugal compressors have the fewest moving parts, have continues flow, and are most efficient! To bad they are not available in consumer systems. I bet it doesn't scale down well.
All of the ones shown are found in commercial properties such as office blocks. Centrifugal tend to be in very large buildings as they can produce a lot of cooling. Screw tends to be in small-medium buildings with lower cooling demand. Scroll is typically in air cooled chillers and are found in small buildings. Recip can be in any of them however they are not used as much anymore as the other types are typically more efficient and cheaper to produce and maintain.

Great video! I'm just starting to work on chillers and your videos have been very, very helpful.
Thx for this great demonstration.
Very helpful and very knowledgable......
Keep up the grt work👍👍
Very well explained mate, appreciate it !
Thanks Paul
Excellent explanation...
bhai bhut acha hai aap ka experience

Thanks man
Thank you sir
1/ Why don’t use rotary compressor with chiller?
2/ explain cinterfugal compressor from danfoss “magic bearing “ please
please make a video on mc quay screw chiller
Thank you sir for ur support.....
In what kind of chiller plants these compressors are separately used...plzz let me know....
Devid gill yes we want the advantages and the disadvantages of each type

Nice video
V good information
nyc sir
Awesome quite fabulous it’s great quite fabulous too good lvvvvllyyyy
1:02 So a turbocharger, but for refrigerant.
3:57 that one looks like a supercharger, but for refrigerant.
2 stage compressor at the centrifugal sections, do you mean the refrigerant passes 2 smaller centrifugal compressor?
Good video sir, if you don't mine send me the pdf of compressors
Is the oil free chiller technology applicable to centrifugal chiller only?
Please sir is it possible to replace reciprocating compressor with screw compressor

Sir,
Why different compressor used for different chiller
Engineers find a problem and solve it with another method
Can you please elaborate
Everyone be like: sir can you send me pds on everything I need or make vids on this 😂
Noice!
These all compressor remind me of a dodge hellcat charger with twin charge 2 turbos and 1supercharger .
