Why you NEED the Armaspeed cold air intake on a BMW G82 M4

- I didn't think I needed the Armaspeed cold air intake...but I was wrong! The BMW G82 M4's driving experience was already good, but this intake system levels that up.
In this video, I introduce the concept of a "cold air intake," showcase some gorgeous carbon fiber, demonstrate a quick install of the Armaspeed system, and then show some before and after driving clips.

Is there any increase in induction noise at all? Or do the turbos still muffle all of the induction noise?
I do think there is enhanced induction noise. I'm going to do more videos with better audio quite soon
@@m.dreamin Cool thanks! The full package with the covers is a bit on the pricy side, especially when converted to Canadian dollars haha but maybe I’ll treat myself…it definitely looks and seems to sound the best out of the bunch available. Eventuri seems like a crazy rip-off
Yeah all the extra carbon certainly adds up but if you don't get the cold-air covers you'll get even more noise. I get good sound even with the covers so I can only imagine it's more dramatic without them. And agreed on Eventuri. I have a few G8X friends that have Eventuri and it's certainly gorgeous, but has far less engine bay audio. Many regret spending so much on it.
Unless you're doing car shows, it ain't going to help your drag or track times...
Mostly it's helping the engine bay noise and some say these help when it comes to tuning the engine.
@@m.dreamin naw, it does nothing as far as performance, maybe get you a few HP if you upgraded the turbos, but that's about it outside of a nice sound.
