    Hahaha! TV is not like this any longer. The interaction; genuine and hilarious. Instructions; entertaining and straightforward. No drama, very little editing, no fancy business and A+ content. So refreshing.

    after watchin a fucking ton of videos on carbs this was the most straight to the point while still keepin it simple.

    I watched a meccy jet my ZXR-J1 many moons ago,and was amazed at how simple it was,he did it in situ,and i could have done it meself ! I was surprised he put the smaller jets in,and he explained it was about the mixture. Idealy you want somewhere that has a rolling road to set it up,helps if your carbs are balanced,LOL

      This is why they set the screws as they do, tried and tested, only problem is you must use the instructions for your bike, rather than two turns mine would be three.

    it’s worth mentioning that the cleaner your working area is the better chance you have to put it back together without getting a tiny bit of dirt in the carbs cos it only takes a spec of dirt size of a grain of salt to block a jet and then it won’t run properly until it’s clean again
    the best results for this upgrade will come from getting the bike set up on a rolling road

    Refer to the jet manufacturer as to which stage jet kit(s) you need. They will ask what type and brand of exhaust, carb size, type of filter(s), ect. There are typically stage 1 stage 2 and stage 3 kits.

      No it's one kit with all three types of jets, he shows this in the video. The instructions tell you what ones to use depending on your current setup.

    I realise this is an old post but if I was to installing this to my present ride a VTR 1000F FIRESTORM will it run as intended on the stock equipment OR would I need to upgrade the AIR FILTER and OEM EXHAUST headers and silencers!
    I realise this question is maybe a Laugh to the well informed but to me, I would appreciate a solid answer in-depth answer, please.
    Thank you.

    Hello Paul Johnston and Gary, how are you? thanks for the great video. I have a CB750F 1981 and I am(the mechanic is) having problems installing or making the Dynojet Stage 3 to work in it. I want to install the Single filter Pods, we have the stage 3 Dynojet in and I am still running on the stock pipes. The mechanic says that the bike is running ok on stop but flat on mid range on the road. Is there anything I am missing on the puzzle? I appreciate any tips or help. Best regards and definitely subscribing to your channel. best regards

    Amusing vid lads, is it really neccessary to replace the needle as well or could you get away with just replacing the jet? The needle is just for a snappier throttle response right?

    why are big bike carbs so complicated with butterfly valve and slides? why can they be simple like what you see on a single cylinder carb where theres no complicated fragile rubber seal and vacuum stuff..just the throttle slide and spring only..

      fidel catsro There is five times more to do than what this guy showed you,,,,, do you want your bike to run like an old Harley no power at all,,,. ??? 1 carburetor,,,,. Or do you want it to run like a,,,,, raped ape,,,,. ??? These are the old simple carburetors,,,,

    • @keepitmoving5440
      @keepitmoving5440 Před 6 lety

      They seem complicated if you've never took one apart, I was like you at one point when I got my full bike licence, I was like darn that looks complicated, but I took one apart and realised what the fuss was Evan about lol they are really easy! Only difference is what ever you do to one carb, you gotta repeat another 3x's witch makes it abit long. But that depends on how fast you work

    This guy like most does not install the Kit properly,,,,,, he totally skipped at least five key things,,,, or no kit ,,, or jets,,, will work properly ,. !!!! And if you don't have a set of precision calipers with a depth gauge,,,??? You may as well be using Chinese Jets and needles for another bike,,,,. !!!!
