Very interesting compilation Les. I had never seen those Nigerian drums, they make a lovely sound. On the wind side, I have also seen flutes/whistles transverse and otherwise, open at the end of the length which are different from ocarinas.

Why the air-quotes around "musical instrument" when discussing the didgeridoo? Seems just as much an instrument as the rest of the ones here

Hi Drake, A valid comment thanks, but I personally dont think that the sounds that come from the didgeridoo are musical or better still melodious!
