- This is a successful story of a very good friend of mine, Goulenlal Thangsing, an amiable and simple person. The man behind the premium brand of Touchworth in Manipur. We were together in Delhi for higher studies and he took a radical step to deviate from the stereo type convention of writing UPSC exams and ventured into the private sector. From a fledgling Furniture shop to an expansive Touchworth Industries, in the highly competitive market, his brand is a household name in Manipur today. His passion and desire to satisfy his customers and provide the best furniture sets, etc is an inspiring story that many youngsters should emulate.

Bumped into your video while looking for inspirations on how to finish the edges of plywood and mdf with natural hardwood for my ongoing project. After ransacking Mukherjee Nagar for years and hopping from Geography, Sociology to Philosophy and not to mention all the GSss...i circled back home to Ccpur and get my hands on something i've always enjoy doing and now i am a one year old full-time carpenter. Really feels good to see someone doing absolutely well on the road not taken. Oh, boy, the tools and machines at Touchworth...i'll make sure i visit. Thanks for the video Pu.

I've finished my Ma in Economics. Iam also studying for civil services exams. But deep down within I always have the Heart & Love for helping people by giving them proper jobs, increasing my district GDP atleast to a certain level by being an Entrepreneur. But Iam most of the time a pessimistic person due to low income & surrounded by negativity environment where government job is always the answer.
Mix around with people who have a positive attitude.

Pu Goulenlal is one of the very few people in our community who has made a name for himself and made a living by following his passion. This is truly inspiring.
I remember my parents getting us a TV box/stand from Touch Worth when I was in high school. They were based in Hatta back in the day if I my memory serves me right. We still have the TV box which is now modified into a closet😄

I'm also giving my MPSC exam on 30th April but my heart is telling me otherwise. I'm not even sure if im giving the exam because of parents' and family's expectations because deep down ive always wanted to be an entrepreneur and have even started investing and exploring things like real estate here and there.
