I was waiting and waiting…and waiting for her to even have a slight giggle. Obviously, she refused to look at Sean during that silence 😆
Her ability to not break is absolutely wild to me.

I love how you can see the internal struggle she was having not to break when she saw his eyebrow. That's why she kept looking down for so long before continuing with her line. Kudos to Megan Mullally for holding it together!

I like how Karen did NOT break. Amazing.
She's famous for not cracking altho you can see her fighting it when she looks at Jack.
The one time I remember she and Sean (and Debra) could NOT hold it together was as Karen and Jack freeze while eating ramen, relying on the ol' "their eyeset relies on movement" trick to evade Grace staring them in the face
@@explodingplant2there's another blooper where she breaks too - an elevator scene with Molly Shannon. Megan Mullally is famous for not cracking, but she's admitted that Molly Shannon is one of the few people who can get her to break.

NBC had a commercial going about “Information” they would tell you “things” etc and ALWAYS end it with “the more you know” and a shooting star 💫 graphic

I remember laughing until I cried when Jack revealed his missing eyebrow and then again when Grace drew in the replacement.

I remember watching these live, they did them twice because of the east coast/west coast time difference, i think i got to see the east coast one, absolutely brilliant and Sean and Debra were an absolute MESS 😂 but it made the whole thing funnier. Definitely a highlight from an already brilliant and original run of this show.
I wish they'd post the west coast versions of these episodes. Those were the ones that had mistakes. In Alive and Schticking, Sean and Debra flubbed several lines. In the west coast version of Bathroom Humor, the pill bottles came out much later than expected.
i saw both versions on TV years ago but can only find one of them now and the other one was so much funnier
@@Izzymoggington in my memory i think i got to see bits of both versions. I remember that in the other one when Jack tells Grace that she relies too much on her hair Debra loses it, maybe they were doing that scene for the first time. I wish they would post highlights from both versions.

Megan was a master at staying in character
I was just about to say that she is professional as hell. She's a theater girl, though. She knows the show must go on.
You can see an ever so slight grin as she's trying to keep it together.
Also, when she says, "I see you're curious too, Jack.", her saying "jack" breaks voice a bit.
If I didn't rewatch it 10 times just now I wouldn't have seen.
I always thought of this grin as her one tiny break as I loved seeing them all break, but she did that cute endearing grin each time they’d reference one of her ridiculous life traits or schemes haha so it kind of just passed as her ‘cutesy’ child-like grin she always did. I wish she’d broke but I love her being so professional haha

They were ?! Wow. So they’re like recorded plays, basically? I know friends was recorded live but they would do take after take to get the best scene.
@@gottalovetheinternet they're recorded in front of a live audience with many takes, trying to get the right ones and cutting out the bloopers, allowing time to move from set to set and wardrobe changes and hair and makeup. 'Alive & Schticking' (first episode of season 8) and 'Bathroom Humour' (11th episode of the 8th season) were the exceptions, as they were recorded live - no retakes; the cameras kept rolling.

Meghan and Eric are pros, able to just push through without breaking! Well, you see Meghan struggling a bit - she was looking everywhere but in Sean's direction, trying to keep from bursting out laughing. Eric, though... he cracked during the second live, but the first one, nothing; not even a small smile!
I don't know how any of them are able to keep from laughing all the damn time!
The “curious” eyebrow reveal has me ugly cackling like a hyena 🤣😂
Each one of these amazing, talented, lovable actors played their characters to the hilt and no one was weaker than the others or had to be carried. They made television magic ❤
7:49 you can see the split second that Megan almost break when she look at Jack, but she hold it in real quick XD so pro.

I was fortunate enough to attend one of these revival seasons tapings. IT WAS SO FUNNY when you get to see everything and the bloopers in real time.

@@popland1977 Yes because they were live recordings they had to do two shows since the US is so large it has different time zones. They did one recording for the East coast and then 3 hours later they did another for the West coast.

It's years of live performance ... And professionalism. (And the fact that once you've rehearsed the lines a million times they're just not quite as funny anymore)
That's why I'm pretty sure they were throwing out some lines that weren't in the script and the others were hearing for the first time.

Carol Burnett always talked about her actors trying to never break the "4th Wall" with her sketches on her weekly show. Megan is a pro with rarely breaking character and the 4th wall....her most infamous break though is with Val in the lift while Val is in pain(pleasure). Hysterical.
