Especially when you realize that what the actors are saying, what you're hearing and what the subtitles say are all different in some parts. Love that the actors were willing to say some of the things they did, even if they had to dub over it after to pass censorship.

FYI, the actor has done an actual bl drama, called Advance Bravely I think. It was made before the 2016 new censorship rules were implemented, so it's more explicit

I’m enjoying how the more we see and learn about Wen Ke Xing, the darker his clothing gets. In the beginning, his clothing was entirely white, by episode 8, it’s dark blue and hints of red (!!).
I am guessing towards the end it's going to be entirely black or red.

Many people auditioned for this role, even Zzh and the guy who played Scorpion, but I don't believe anyone other than Gong Jun could have done justice to this role.
I'm satisfied that they chose GJ in the end. He's so perfect portraying WKX.. While I think ZZH could be fine, I feel like he best fit being ZZS. Like it's really good on him... Props to the casting team for choosing these teo 🥺💖

Just his other drams don’t have good scripts. Wen Ke Xing is a more profound role and has subtler personality. Yet his acting is the same good.
I agree tbh, but maybe like the other commenter said, it's because this script was superior and called for a much wider range of acting and emotion than his other roles.
I've seen him in other dramas but he's never really stood out, in this one he absolutely shines, so does ZZH, they really are WKX and ZZS, no one will ever replace them.
