Place the shack wall with the blue piece after all the other shack wall pieces and you won’t have to rug glitch. I work with the prefab pieces all the time and that blue wall typically has to be placed after the others. 😊
Some of the wall pieces are order of operation. That wood one that has blue has to go last, nothing wants to snap to it, but it will snap last.
What a neat idea. I would never have thought of incorporating barn pieces to make a shack, so naturally everything looks a bit samey.

Nice little entry building to your village, almost like a guard's shack.. Thinking about getting an Xbox/PS5 for this game and some others and just leave my PC just for Fallout..lol Once all these updates finish messing everything, I'll go back to my PC.. Hope you're having a great day.. 😊

I visited the phillipines, and those raider tents are everywhere for shade and in the outer provinces everything looks scrappy but people make do.
Regarding improving the view when placing items... if you hold down A, you can use the left thumbstick to move the item away from you or towards you. This will give you a wider field of vision. You can also hold A and L1, and the use the left thumbstick to raise and lower items, which is handy for placing higher walls and roof pieces

Nordhagen is coming along nicely! Personally I couldn't play the game without mods now though, I'm too used to using them (especially 'Place Everywhere').

A 4 star bunkhouse. It could have been a 5 star, but no jacuzzi (for the brahmin). 😉
I honestly can't figure out why they haven't made it so that you can get rid of the grass and bushes. I doubt that it would be a tough task, but I don't code, so... I don't build, but it's annoying to see people put in the effort, but then, there's grass poking through the floors, tree branches through the walls, etc. I mean, you can scrap houses, but not grass? 👀
Yes, it’s such a pain. Mods will remove it or console commands (but I don’t know if you can use console commands on Xbox one), so I’m sticking with it. I agree that grass should have been included to be scrap able. Such a waste!
@@rellygirlyeah, you can’t use console commands on Xbox but Scrap That Settlement is an Xbox users best friend when it comes to fallout 4. You don’t accidentally scrap buildings but you can scrap bushes and some grass. Just make sure it’s below anything that changes settlements. And disable if you’re going to use the pillar glitch and then enable again. 😊

Starfield finally has some mods to start improving outpost building.

@@rellygirl its probably better that you waited. Finally its given me a reason to play it again. I did one playthrough when it came out then put it down. Never even touched outpost building till now. Looking forward to more mods.
If you play on PC there are way more mods than what I have access to in xbox.
