    This upload is a gem. I knew Paul Jackson played upright growing up, but never heard him play straight ahead like this before. Him and Mike are absolutely slaying it!

    This is wonderful - one of the most important and underappreciated drum and bass partnerships ever. Half of the things I know about bass were stolen from listening to Jackson with Clarke.

    I remember getting the VHS video of this in the early 90's. I wore that thing out, watching it almost every night after practicing earlier in the evening. Such an awesome rhythm section. I still throw Thrush on all the time.

    I loved when I seen you guys play when your endings were a surprise even to both of you both fed and the audience super well plus other concerns that only privately only you would know but you made it work than dropped the mike with class and dignity and style politely! Funky all the way home we went! Great lesson thks forever!
