- We weren’t able to run our usual Monday farm trip today due to a freeway closure so we thought since Bandit is sleeping over, we‘d do our farm dog Spotlight on him.
Bandit boy is turning 6 this year, he’s been coming to the farm since we started, three times a week. But we’ve known Bandit from before farm trips. Since he was just 6 months old. He came to us as a cheeky little puppy that needed some training, and he’s been a part of our lives ever since.
He has a big personality. So big we had to stop ourselves at about 13 minutes on this video because we could talk about all his quirks forever. He wears his heart on his sleeve and he lets us know every day what he wants and how he’s feeling.
It’s no secret as he’s gotten older, we’ve let him become more the boss that he’s always wanted to be. And y’all know we don’t mind one bit.
Bandit has played a big part in the evolution of the farm. His thirst for fun, active, competitive and stimulating games has inspired us in designing the farm into what it is today and he sure loves to let us know when we get it right.
We know there’s a lot of a Bandit fans out there, and you probably already know a lot about him, but hopefully there’s a little something for everyone in this video that they didn’t know about the big man, the king, our buddy boy, Luke’s partner in fun ... the one and only Bandit ... the Boxer.

One of the many endearing traits that Bandit possesses is his total enthusiasm for every single opportunity he’s given to experience different things. Playing with little children, welcoming new and shy dogs to be part of the pack, his love for the Evans family, his love of little games he’s devised to play with his friends in the pool, his sweet temperament, his self-confident nature whereby he always expects to be treated with the respect - which he’s 1000% earned. In fact….. he’s just the bestest boy you’ll ever meet in doggiedom. ❤️❤️❤️

I loved the way Bandit always checked in on Charlie the last days of Charlie's earth assignment. He & Wally are patiently awaiting their reunion with ALL the friends of theirs.
Such a gorgeous and very funny boy. I love how he pushes the toys in the water for the other dogs. Love how he hides each afternoon and those expressions on his face are priceless. He not only entertains all the other dogs, but he also entertains us humans.
We miss seeing you at the farm gorgeous boy. I hope you are enjoying a form of retirement, and I know your arthritis was giving you a hard time. Thank you for all the wonderful smiles you brought every day, the laughs, the entertainment, and your wonderfully gentle but huge personality. I hope your new puppy sibling brings you joy. Our first Boxer is now 9…if we had adopted a Boxer as our first dog together (30 years), we would always have had a Boxer. Morris is so intelligent, funny, sweet, gentle, and appropriately protective. He’s turning grey and white, but still acts like a crazy puppy.
I first noticed Bandit when Luke was bathing puppies & Bandit was so sweet trying to comfort the pups. He stole my heart! I never considered owning a boxer but Bandit has made me want one with his caring & goofy antics 💖
Bandit is hallerious when he pushes the water toy in for another dog to retrieve over and over. He is so expressive. A well deserved star of the show. Thank you for sharing the joy of Bandit.
That always cracks me up when he does that. Then he waits on the dock to grab the toy from them & pushes it right back in😂

Bandit...I just love seeing him. My Boxer Mix, Capt., lived 16 years and raised a lot of kids, besides my 4, . I rewatch this video often. I also shared the Veteran Story of Doggie Day Care with
an American Veteran's site. Even having a service dog or a pal like these is so much comfort for combat and highly trained vets. I think Sam is exceptional too. thanks again.
I laugh every time I see him guard a toy he has captured by clothes-lining the other dogs face or shoulder. So funny. "NOT GONNA HAPPEN!"

My Boxer was just like Bandit. When it came time to go home...One night at his favorite place he was missing when HOME was mentioned and we found him upstairs in bed. His body was under the covers and his head was on the pillow. He was ready to spend the night in their bed! We would give him 5 more minutes. Hilarious stuff. Then when it was time to walk to the car? it would be soooo slow. I had him for 14 years. 14 Glorious years! He saved my life. Animals are awesome!

Of all the dogs, well except cutie pie who now runs with the big dogs, Bandit is my absolute favorite. He is very smart. I love how he thrown toys into the pool for the other dogs and Of course refusing to go home.

When I first started watching, Bandit had my love and heart right away❤ . He is so adorable, intelligent, and full of charisma!!! He is the first dog I look for in the videos. Bandit is REEEAAAALLLLYYY smart and boxers arent necessarily known to be the most intelligent breed on Earth. So hes naturally an underdog that you want to root for. Hes not genetically near the fastest dog, but he moves as fast as any dog on the field. His sniffer isn't the most sniffiest, but he always proves to use it to the maximum. He loves being on the farm as much as Luke loves having him on the farm. They are magnets for each other

What I like about watching these dogs is that several of these breeds like Boxers are not known to be good swimmers, yet around the other dogs they have learned to love the water.
