If you put the engine in that truck since it has a Two speed transmission manual you have a hi and lo range *you can also make it go into NEUTRAL by putting the servo in the middle so you can rev the engine that will be EPIC just like a 4x4 transfer case and the Revo gear box also has 2 speed automatic and a reverse, you might could make neutral in it as well mabye, so if you hook it all up you will have something AMAZING Kevin. Can't wait to see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

It’s kind of sad that you have to put a lot of mods on for Keaton 6S to make it invincible but with the X max it’s just Durable as hell in stock form
lmao but the price difference isnt worth the durability, ive seen peopls xmaxxs break running them on the road on 6s
ryanrcs isn’t the xmaxx and Maxx basically the exact same in terms of build quality and design? I’d say the Maxx May be even better at surviving jumps since it’s much lighter

Are there any aftermarket bodies that will fit the Maxx? Airbrushing custom bodies is my passion and all these new clip on bodies is making it harder to figure out what can work and what can't? Just got a new Summit a few weeks ago but am wanting something faster so I'm ready for my next truck and am looking between Erevo,Maxx, and a Brand New still in the box E-maxx thats at my LHS. I'm just worried about parts support if I get it though.

Tbh I have to say I think the revo is as tough as the x Maxx, when you upgrade all the links and upgrade the servos, nothing really goes wrong with them, they can take a hell of a kicking

I love how the Traxxas E-Revo just had some shafts on it and the 2 arrma cars are modified to the max. arrma tough Kev right?😂😂🤣
I also like how Kev made so much money selling Traxxas parts that he could afford all those plus a lambo plus a rock bouncer in construction, but they never break right =D
@@daver18qc He probably does sell alot of Traxxas Parts but that doesn't mean there were broken parts.... I own both Traxxas and arrmas,. I just think it's funny how Kevin and Pat get frustrated with how often the arrmas break and how much modification is needed in order to be a good basher for them.. I mean Kevin especially beats the hell out of these things.
@@PhilBender612 Don't own any but sold them for 5 years, they all break equally as much.
You gotta see the big picture here though, he clearly is biased towards selling those parts so he recommends that everyone buys one, knowing that they break just as much. I mean if you search his channel for Erevo2.0 videos, all of them end up with a broken part.
I don't care what people buy, i just dislike dishonesty in general.
My favorite trx is the Rustler, switch everything to RPM arms/knuckles/hubs, steel driveshaft, it's a beast.

Can't wait. I LOOOOOOVE my E-Revo, but it is another animal altogether compared to the Maxx. The E-Revo actually handles and drives more similar to an X-Maxx, which is weird because the Maxx is effectively a mini X-Maxx XD. I hope the E-Revo wins :D

I think the e-Revo is the better RC. Definitely has more going for it. I don't own the Maxx or the E-REVO, but my RC buddy has the E-REVO and I've got it's nitro powered brother. The Maxx I never seen in person, but I feel like they tried to hard making it as capable as the X-Maxx

That Traxxas maxx is the best I drove that maxx hard too with a 6s conversion the one it goes 85mph that maxx is fast with stock gearing

Not to mention it is only about $400 more. Might seem like a lot but the X-Maxx is more than double the Maxx in every aspect.
yea its like how an xbox is $500 but a good pc is like $1300 - $1500. the more u pay the more u get.
Even tho the maxx is just a scaled down x-maxx they are two completely different RC cars so I dont think you can compare them. The maxx is sooo much more fun for me and fits my style of RC driving, and others might like the x-maxx more for different reasons. Not everyone wants to drive that huuuge thing around.

I'm getting rid of all my rc cars, becuase I cant do this, I jump a 1 foot jump, land perfectly with all 4 tires, no throttle, and the diff strips or I brake a steel axle...I've got an erevo and a tmaxx, so they are fairly beefy trucks with the upgrades I have. but I still enjoy your vids, keep up the great content.
Same problem with my tmaxx. I gave up on traxxas. Arrma all the way. I can rip my granite all day with zero issues.
You know he problem with steel drive shafts.. you strip gears instead.
I owned Traxxas for years with hundreds of hours of abuse and I bet I didn't put $200 in replacement parts between the 4 trucks. The same can not be said for my Kraton. Every battery pack I broke it and getting parts took forever. I took the loss and sold it. I hear the granite is built better but I got burned already.
@@austinmurphy9225 traxxas does have great products. I'm definitely not a traxxas hater at all. That's what I got my toes wet with. I still have my tmaxx, maybe someday soon I'll have more patience with it lol.
Switch yo crawling like I did you never brake anything. I have had many bashers from traxxas to arma to losi to axial (yeti) and they are all money pits I sold all mine and got a trx4 bronco and haven't been happier lol.
