    Try the Kingwood oboes. Really very nice, and the low notes respond so easily. Nice warm sound also.

      Um...they make the oboe in standard grenadilla and kingwood, which is a type of violetwood, not a brand. Why don't you try learning something about the company and the wood and composite material they use before making ignorant comments.
