This is because of the horizontal wind shear that develops in the last few hundred meters of the approach, because of the Rock. This is actually quite a good simulation of the difficulties in landing.

Ich hab viele Abflüge und Landungen auf Gibraltar gesehen . Die Piloten müssen starke Nerven und sehr viel Geschick u d Erfahrung haben um diesen schwierigen Airport zu meistern.. Diese Simulation ist sehr real.
Looks about right for BA at Gibraltar. It might have been a rough landing, but it’s better than diverting to Malaga, getting the bus back, spending an hour in the border queue before getting home. 😅
Had to land there twice every month during construction for 2 years - 50% of the time had to be diverted to Spain, Morocco, Portugal due to extreme wind conditions. Lots of fun!
You should consider having a steadier decent rate; you were very low on approach, hence the sudden need for altitude. Start flaring gently around 30 feet. Even if you are landing on a short runway, watching your glide slope is crucial to having a smooth landing. In real life you would have most likely lost your license and that heavy would be in dire need of inspection. Keep practicing and you’ll improve your landings in no time :)
Byłam na Gibraltarze. Samo to, że po przekroczeniu granicy hiszpańsko gibraltarskiej by dostać się do centrum trzeba przejść po pasie startowo- lądowym lotniska robi wrażenie. Obserwowałam też lądowania i starty samolotów ze szczytu gibraltarskiej góry. Zdziwiło mnie też to, że nocami sama hala przylotów i odlotów była zamknięta, wszyscy musieli opuścić budynek. W ciągu dnia też otwarte było tylko na czas przylotów i odlotów samolotów.
