Facts 💀
The first blue striped Condor A330 landing was a good one considering the wind conditions. The crosswind was from the left and the left main wheel touched down before the other wheel. It was not a “wasted” landing as you commented.
In fact, it is a three-point-landing which considered as great! The -fpm on the touchdown wasn´t wasn´t too good though.
Yes, these spotting videos are good!
Very good for people who don't live near an airport or don't live near one that has a lot of different airlines.
They allow people to see a wider variety than at their local airport.
Condor did not "crab," they slipped. It wasn't by accident, it is a proper crosswind landing procedure.
Commentary is crap and is mostly incorrect. Dramatic music is dumb.
Overall, I rate this spotting video a 3/10.

Fun video. Some of your viewers might not know that a proper crosswind landing results in the upwind main gear touching down first. with that one landing, the "bounce" wasn't really a bounce but a skip. A bounce is when the gear fully compresses and the recoil forces the airplane back up. Cheers

Great spotting and filming! I would personally add 3 points to each of these landings given that we want a firm touchdown with a wet runway and/or crosswind conditions. Butter landings usually require a longer flare which eats up valuable runway and reduce safety in these conditions.
Frankfurt has a great runway view! My local airport, Birmingham (BHX) UK, has a terrible viewpoint. The significant part of the runway is blocked from view by fuel storage units. It sucks!

Went planespotting at Aberdeen (ABZ) once. It was consistently windy at 35kts! Its fair to say larger A320s were getting tossed around!

Yesterday (5.11.23) I was at Munich Airport and watch how the airplanes start and land and on the airport was very much wind too.
Interesting fact, I was planespotting 2 days ago and saw D-AALT departing India (not Mumbai however) towards Frankfurt
The first two were 9/10 dude lol They were both smooth

You are definitely a Lufthansa fan, Sun Express 1 was the smoothest landing of all.
A smooth landing is not always recommended. In some conditions the Flight Crew Manual recommends a positive landing: wet runway ……. In a gusty conditions, or slippery runway, it is not a good idea to delay the touchdown for a kiss landing 🤷♂️

Like a few weeks ago at Melbourne airport there were 35kts of wind (like 70 kmh).
A shame that A330NEO by Condor didin't perform a very smooth landing. More like a #swiss001landing in real life with bad weather condition (Btw, I have 3 #swiss001landing videos in bad weather condition) but still an Awesome👍Plane Spotting video, Swiss.
