For those looking at this shaft. It has become my main playing one. The 12mm modified conical taper is awesome and very comfortable. The deflection is very low and predictable. It is not lower than revo. A hair less than the 314-3. But it is very snappy with awesome feedback. It less deflection than the jacoby black, a touch less deflection than the cuetec. The only con I found is it’s a bit whippy feeling. So certain high pace shots is weird to me still. But kamui original medium tip and taper is just a nice overall cue shaft. I would prefer 10-15% increase in stiffness overall as the flex is pretty noticeable. But the trade off is awesome feedback and ability to judge power and speed. I feel I’m less focused on speed and more on on the stroke due to the smaller diameter.

You can spin the ball xtremely well with the mezz. I've never played with an origional 314 so Idk what they are like. Both the shafts seemed to do well

I love my Mezz WX900. More than the 314-3

My understanding is WX900 isn't laminated wood like 314-3, so it's a solid maple shaft?

@@wc5839 it’s EXTREMELY Solid. 314-3 feels hollow and light. Don’t like it at all. WX900 is superior
