thanks for sharing! stay safe!
This storm was so unexpected. It live in Beloit about 20 minutes from Jefferson and it went over us like a normal quick thunderstorm. Never thought this cell would start dropping tornadoes all over the place in the area
the surface low to the west increased ESRH values.
If you live in beloit you actually are about 40 -45 min south west of Jefferson
@@allenmiller9075 I guess it is it just doesn’t feel like 45 minutes when I drive past
Great footage, stay safe!
Awesome catch!! 🌪️ Thought it was odd for there to be a tornado warning posted this afternoon when we were outside the area of concern. Also figured it was too cool out & too much lake breeze. Guess there was plenty enough shear to get things spinning regardless. Neat!!
nws had a meso discussion. it really wasnt a huge surprise if you followed todays forecast.
Who you kidding about Lake breeze? I LIVE by the lake! Within about 1 mile of the shoreline
@@petermiller4953 Apparently you don't leave your house. I'm 12 miles inland from the lake & have experienced the lake breeze every afternoon for the last 46 years, provided it's warm enough for the breeze to come inland & the prevailing offshore winds aren't too strong. It's a common phenomena related to any large body of water. You may want to read up on weather basics.
Lol! Clearly you know little about weather
The most Wisconsin accent ever lol. Not a bad thing. I have one too
That was some phenomenal footage .......May God bless you abundantly and keep you safe. ❤🎯🤑
Exactly Melody-we need the LORD's help nmw!!!
Wool hoooo😂 love mother nature doing her thing. Thanks for the footage!!!! Hope all living fared well . Nature happens 🤗 learn to stay safe👍
So weird seeing a tornado next to blue sky
Actually most tornadoes form on the edge of a thunderstorm so this isnt rare at all
These tornados were right on the back edge of the line
I witnessed it start above Milton town hall as a funnel as we were going to the basement next door. Crazy stuff.
Wow! I'm a newish storm chaser from the Madison area still looking for my first tornado, saw multiple funnel clouds between Cottage Grove and Marshall yesterday. There was so much vorticity near the surface that even showers were rotating. I'm so glad to see someone captured the tornadoes on video!
Decent storm structure too.
Good job.
Storm chasers are all over, I guess..
0:08 I can hear those winter tires! Am I right!? Zero hydroplane with winter tires!
Thanks! hydroplaning not fun....
@@1861Anna your welcome. I just love my Falcon winters on my 2013 Accord in heavy rain. I just fly down the freeway at 78, when everyone is going 60-65 in down pour rain. It’s so exciting!
Very Wonderful Video!!!! F+L, Corey
Thanks for the footage! I was kinda close to this myself ( In warned area ) as this popped off while I was watching other streams with the other weather events going on. Its funny hearing out of state people trying to pronounce cities likw Oconomowoc or Waukesha.
Ya so you can almost see my house in the first bit on 12 there when it crosses behind the koshkonog town hall. Glad i was in the basement with the family. Too close for comfort.
Holy crap I missed this
I was at Lakeland tv campground which is by Milton and there was some winds
❤
I am In Wisconsin and I had to take cover bc I live in Milton so we had to take cover
What are the damages? Are the people safe?
EF-0 damage, no injuries

If not expected, why storm chasers there?
There's storm chasers all over the place. There's plenty to go around in SE WI too. Hell, had it come to Washington County, I would have gone out.
I actually live right nearby and had I not been napping I might have gone out for it. But there's plenty of trained spotters all around.
🤦♂️
There was a conditional threat for a couple tornadoes in that region.
Because they are storm chaser... Chasing storms... There happened to be tornadoes.
