I love how she picked up the broken pieces of her heart & carried on his legacy just as he would of wanted 💕 The way her children look at her while she talks just shows how much they love & adore her. They know she did everything for them after they're dad passed & you can see how grateful they are .
I must say, im jealous that they got to grow up in a zoo, that is like my childhood fantasy, honestly it still is and im nearly out of highschool

I recommend you apply for a job online at the zoo soon as you turn 18 get on a plane and fly to Australia take on your new job at the zoo as a gatekeeper whatever it is any job that they have just to get your foot in the door and you're in for you as long as you want to be if it's your passion you will make it your life! As they say if you love what you do you'll never work a day in your life!

I didnt have parents or anybody for that matter to teach me anything growing up i was for the most part raised by my t.v... anything and everthing i learned as a child i learned from watching Animal Planet and Discovery Channel and Steve Irwin was a huge part in that.. He will always in some way be a part of me, he is just like family in my mind..

In the documentary that Steve did about his life and his family, he said he grew up in the zoo that his dad started. It really doesn't matter who started it. What matters is what it has become to the wildlife that are nurtured and rescued everyday. It matters to the world what the zoo stands for now, conservation and protection of the environment that the wildlife need to survive. Through this we all benefit by their efforts.

Wow. Yeah, I forgot Steve was on Animal Planet. I completely forgot Animal Planet, actually. I was just saying in another comment how I remember him on Discovery when I was a kid. Either way, I just watched one of the Australia 60 Minutes episodes about Terri & the kids when they were younger & the loss of Steve. Death & loss of someone close like that, especially someone so figuratively big & who's life so many people's lives were involved with has to be hard. I really wonder what it must have been like for Terri when Steve died. Not being there when it happened. Not being able to be there with him when he passed. Having two kids & a zoo to manage & raise & run. I wonder how close & involved Terri was with Steve's family. I remember Steve's dad being in some of the episodes when I was a kid. I wonder if they helped Terri out. I remember Steve having a lot of good close friends in those old episodes, too. You never hear about how things went right after Steve died. Who chipped in, how things went, who helped with & picked up what. At least I haven't seen ir heard anything about it in any of the handful of things I've watched. Some things are private though. I'd really like to know. But, most of all, my heart really does feel for Terri though. It seems like it had a killer impact on her. Having a life & relationship like it seemed like they might have had, I REALLY couldn't imagine losing a partner in a life like that. Totally crazy. What a loss.
