- Playing around with silicone oil a little more in this video. Going a little crazy with it to see how much we can get away with - Will it put craters in your design? will the effects stay? I had fun testing this out. Three different boards with a different amount of oil 1. oil only in one color on the top 2. oil in the base coat and 3 oil in all of the colors! Join me and have some fun with this. I had to re-post this one due to an editing error and I apologize if that confused anyone

I appreciate that you don't chatter constantly. I enjoy hearing the demanding kitty in the background. Heading out to get silicone oil!! :)
I love the effects!!!! I bought silicone oil, and I will receive it today, and I can't wait to try it myself!
The orange and white she first mixes with the pallet knife reminds me of orange creamsicle bars from the ice cream truck...in 1962..😁
Really great experiment. Very informative and fun! ❤
Very interesting.…………your channel,is quite unique. Thank you🤗
Thank you so much for directing us so well.... most artists never tell us the whole TRUTH....

This was the mix I was looking for! Thanx for the amazing video! :)
Fascinating and so beautiful! Thank you for doing this!
Wow I'd been thinking of trying this, now I know it's worth doing! thank you!
Wow, love this, gotta try it!
Thank you, nice experiment!
Very interesting.
Your surface isn't level, so you lost some of the effect, but they still turned out really cool. One tip is to use large thumb tacks and a level. Put the tacks (oversized is best) on all 4 corners of the underside. Then push or pull (or shim if necessary) the tacks until it's level in all directions. Thanks for doing the experiment!

OR...just make sure the surface itself is level? She has been doing resin work for quite a while, I'm sure she is quite aware of the surface needing to be level, but seeing as this was just an experiment, decided it wasn't necessary to make sure everything was dead level. It could also be the boards were not perfectly square, as the first one hardly moved.
Interesting and entertaining.
I must say this is soooooo beautiful 😍😍 loved it 😘 I don't know which silicone oil is used in India as there are very less option but soon I am going to explore this 🥰 a big thanks to u mam ❤️❤️
I love this technique! If I wanted to do this on a tray, would I need to clean it up with an alcohol wipe first before I add the top clear resin coat? Or do you think it would be best to sand it?
Thank you for sharing this experiment. I'm starting to use silicone oil in my resin crafts and this helps a lot. Did you use oil no the paint spatula as well, or just mixed into each resin color batch? Also, how much oil did you add to each color, or the ratio?
If you left the center color that just plain purple in a straight line 👁it look like a dragon Zai I think it looks cute
blue pigments do leave specks of color in watercolors and pastels, try a different blue or a more expensive one.
Could you use a hair dryer if you haven't got a heat gun. Thanks
Thanks, this was specifically about showing how the oil acts in the resin. I love how the swipe effect with the spatula looks for this video
Very interesting to see the amazing results . Could you tell me what you sign your work with before adding your final layer of resin . 😀
Yes, in the video description at the bottom, there are signature pen links 👍
Are u using silicone oil for sewing or for treadmill? Or are they the same ??
Can the BASE be made with resin and an acrylic paint? Or must be with pigments?
depends on the ingredients of the acrylic paint. not every acrylic paint harmonizes with resin. some of my acrylic paints made the resin clumpy and unusable. best way to colour resin is either with opaque or half opaque colour pigments, mica powders, glitter or food colourings to make your own color. for example white pigment paste can be created by yourself in mixing titandioxide powder into resin component (don't us hardener component for mixing own colours). and acrylics.. as I said, sometimes it works, sometimes don't. maybe you test some of them out.
@@k.p.5066 many many thanks indeed
Try using killz spray primer oil base on canvas to cut back on air flow going through canvas maybe even spray it from backside.
Y’all make nice looking art but should be concerned about air bubbles!!!!!!!!!!
Make it abstract but also flawless
Miss the title?
Beautiful, but to much silicone
Is this noisy "toy" a heat gun?
Not sure why you are quoting "toy"...Interestingly, yes, heat guns tend to not be quiet /s
@@FusionSimulations 😂🤣😅😊just because I couldn't see from above what equipment you were using. Lol
@@dalialovesdoggies4361 It's not my video 🤔
Intro was waaay too loud so turned the volume down. Then can't hear you so turned volume way up. Then got blasted by heat gun and subsequent ads. Sorry have to move on, can't constantly be adjusting volume to accommodate your tiny voice.
Having a bad day?
