I had a different "major bummer" story for the end, but they made me pick a different one because everyone said it was "waaaay too much" and "holy sh*+ you can't talk about that on a video" and "are you ok?" and "I'm so sorry, I had no idea...." and "I like your hair!" 🙄
Would you like to share it here?
Damn son.... also your hair is pretty freaking awesome 💁♀️
You could share it one of the next times you stream? If you’re comfortable with doing so.
😂 Sadder than the story you said? Buddy...
Damn, I wonder what kind of story that was :/
Another bummer. Another bummer by Ian Hecox from Angry Birds: The Movie.
Don't you mean Bummerman from Bummerman 64?
This wins the comment section
Don’t you mean Frog Kingdom 2?

Wow. 😮I applaud you for such a fantastic comment. 👏❤️
The real bummer in Shayne and Damien's stories is that people treat child actors like shit.
Exactly..
Sorry Ian pit roof cover is compromised 😭

“They’re warning the other grass, wtf is that grass gonna do?” Nothing Shayne, nothing but wait for the horror. That’s the real bummer of that fact lol
UHM ACSHTHUALLY ITS TO STHIMULATE THE GRWASS TO GROW
Deploy the breakfast Marshall! 😭
Don't worry when it gets too cold Ile melt the snow

It could be an advanced tactic: Something eats the grass, the grass gets smelly, a predator smells the grass, predator eats the grass-eater, grass is now safe.

the true bummer of the episode
15:50 IT'S NOT THE LONLIEST ANYMORE! they heard a second whale emitting sounds from the same 52 herts, replying to the first whale!! it has a friend!!
They only heard it once in 2010 I believe so it’s kinda inconclusive if there is another whale (or whales) that are similar. However, according to an IFL Science article, all whales can hear and “understand” the 52hertz whale, it’s just like it has has a strong accent

My bummer story is that when I was 5 our apartment burned down and we lost EVERYTHING including our two cats right before christmas. So that weekend my mom took us to the movies in an attempt to cheer us up a little, and me and my sister both decided we wanted to see the movie that had just come out, "A Series Of Unfortunate Events". You know, the movie which practically opens up with children walking through the burnt remnants of their house after being orphaned in a house fire. i have only seen that movie once lmao
I'm so used to shitty people I was so happy to see someone didn't try to "one up" your story. Very sorry that happen and I'm hoping yall are in a much better position now.
This is just like pouring salt into your wound. Sounds bad, I hope things are better now.
Aa great of a movie as it is, I can absolutely see how this would be probably the worst time to have seen it.
You should watch the show it’s pretty good

man that grass thing is why i love plants so much, the grass isn't creating the smell to warn other grass but to attract the predators of their predators. basically the grass is trying to kill us
Oh I thought it was a toxicity thing. Warn grass nearby of insects, next grass tastes bad
it can be both@@valiantknight6364
@@valiantknight6364 Not quite. The smell is actually a chemical that stimulates plant growth so the grass can regrow after being cut or chewed on by animals/bugs. If it was to ward off grass eaters, then grass wouldn't be a major part of the diets of so many herbivores of all sizes.
I feel like Tommy deserved maybe a fraction of those fig question points because those beetles he described are literally called figeater beetles.
Fair, but fig wasps literally lay eggs and die inside of figs
@@aaljustaal1890most commercial fresh figs are made without pollination (woohoo GMOs) so they never contained wasps to begin with, and dried figs that may or may not have been pollinated by fig wasps have likely been ripened to the point where the fruit had already enzymatically digested the dead wasps (woohoo nature) so saying eating figs means you’re eating dead wasps is like saying eating vegetables means you’re eating fertilizer
@@DG_Toti Now that's a good fig fact!
I had a dream where Damien and Shayne were drag queens. For those who care, Damien’s drag name was Chastity Belle, and Shayne’s drag name was Juicy Caboosy. I don’t know either.
I have an outline somewhere for an entire actually-serious fanfic where Shayne is a drag queen, never got to the point of figuring out his name but Juiccy Caboosy is hilarious haha
I don't remember the names they came up with, but there was a Show With No Name episode where Shayne, Noah, and Keith did a Drag Queen name generator. And in one of the group TNTLs, Tommy came up with "Aunty Histemine" and Damien called it :D

Damiens elation at his medication working is a real thing. So many times there's no effect, or you end up constipated or with insomnia or nausea.
Glad your meds are working man.
Bummer Story: When I was in middle school drama class, we had to write out a particularly important memory and then students would randomly pick the memories from a box and act them out. I wrote down the memory of the first time that my mom and dad spent time with me, together, since they got a divorce, cause it meant so much to me that they could put aside their differences to be with me. The kid who got my memory just started doing this high-pitch, weiny voice and turned it into slapstick in front of the class, all who laughed. Still hurts.
Damn, that’s a shitty memory. I’m sorry that happened, dude, I hope that it didn’t taint the beautiful memory that you have with them ❤️
Yeah, fuck that kid. Dick...
Damn.
Man, fuck them
I love how Shayne always looks over to see who buzzed in first because he's so used to hosting.
I have to admit, even though we were supposed to bummed, this episode I actually found educating me. Those were some interesting facts I never knew before

And dead skin cells are the main ingredient in house hold dust and helps reduce indoor ozone levels weirdly enough. Side note I worked for a door to door vacuum sales company and to me, when vacuuming mattresses, dead skin smelled sweet kind of bubble gum like. Freaked me out yay.
Sudan has the most pyramids in the world, Egypt has 138 and Sudan has 255!!
The Phillipines consists of 7641 islands! That's wild.
Sorry I love these interesting facts, and even bummer facts. I can add some if needed haha.
I'll add one I find super interesting, people in the Victorian or Edwardian age didn't just apply arsenic to their face THEY ATE IT. They thought it would help their complexion and get rid of blackheads and pimples. Wild times.

I think that the order should be Noah - Shayne - Damien - Tommy.
Shayne and Damien stories are kind of similar so maybe they could change places, but Noah story wasn't that bad he just misgendered a child. Ian just gave the points in the order the stories were told.

I have a cool bummer story to share, too! When I was in, I think, fifth grade (had to have been 9 or 10 years old), I wasn't exactly the happiest kid. Got bullied pretty heavily in school, my family didn't really try and help me do anything about it no matter how many times I talked about it, my grades were complete shit cause I have ADHD and focusing on things is something I struggle with. It was a lot, I wasn't really enjoying being alive at that point. The details of this specific event are a little fuzzy cause it's been a long time, but, from what I do remember: My grandma picked me up from school and took me to her house to wait until my mom got off of work, I brought home a worse report card than usual. I typically had a C average, this one was full of Ds and Fs, and my mom did not like that at all. We got into a pretty big argument about it over the phone, which mostly consisted of her yelling at me and then telling me not to talk back when I tried defending myself, a typical Tuesday night in that house. I stormed into my room, closed the door, and had a breakdown. I was completely overwhelmed with sadness and embarrassment, it was all I could concentrate on. Some time passes, and I start noticing my aunt's voice from the kitchen (idk when she got in the house, but apparently she was there lol), she's talking to my grandma. I missed a good chunk of the conversation cause I was too busy having a panic attack, so the first thing I hear is my aunt screaming "well, no wonder she can't stand him!" from the other room. Having no other context, I can only think the "him" in question was me (this was back when I still identified as male), so now I have the thought that my mom hates me in my head and I start to freak out even harder. My mom eventually gets there to take me back to her house, but I don't really wanna see her cause I now think she can't stand me. I tell her what I overheard my aunt say, and, to my mom's credit, she does try to comfort me. She tells me it was a misunderstanding and says she's gonna talk to her about it. My mom and I go back to her house, and I get a call from my aunt after a few hours. She doesn't really apologize, though, she just says "Maybe next time you should hear the whole conversation instead of just hearing what you wanna hear" and hangs up. Apparently, she was talking about an unrelated thing with my grandpa that I didn't know about. I must've missed that part while I was having a panic attack, that's my mistake ig
I just imagined Alex from “Try Not to Laugh” at all their bummer stories. Being like “I was there man. When that guy kicked Tommy in the taint.”

I cant get over how noah almost revived smosh court and caused damian ptsd again by almost not hi fiving damien yet again. Brilliant episode aswell.
I probably got a lot of bummer stories if I thought about it but the one I repeated to a complete stranger recently was: OK, so in 2017 I posted on Facebook for National Coming Out Day, which was technically how I came out to my parents (they were basically the last of my relatives to come out to, -- my siblings, cousins, and one of my grandmas, and most of my aunts/uncles already knew). That's not the bummer part. The bummer is in two parts, both over Thanksgiving weekend a month later. One was when I was helping my mom in the kitchen I asked her, "So, were you surprised at all?" and she said, "No, but I was kinda hoping you'd never say it." The second part was when I was leaving to go back home and I said to my mom, "I'm sorry you found out over Facebook instead of directly from me," and she said, "It's ok, that's not what your dad and I were mad about."
Oh, I remembered another one. When I was like 15 or so my dad told me that he was worried I'd end up in an abusive relationship someday bc I'd be desperate for attention and would be way too forgiving of abusive behavior.
