  • Jim Baker, the former FBI general counsel, was the featured speaker at a conversation on the Mueller report hosted by the Brookings Institution in Washington, DC. He answered questions from moderator Benjamin Wittes about his role in the FBI’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, including the investigation’s genesis and its seeking of a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant targeting an adviser of the Trump campaign. He also talked about an investigation into alleged leaks from his office, and other matters surrounding the Mueller report. At the end, Mr. Baker fielded questions from the audience.

    What a stupid clip. He never answered the question. Would he admit it if there was coup attempt. What was the insurance policy?
