David, I have been procrastinating over whether to buy Pixelmator and your tutorial, which was so well done and easy to follow has convinced me to go ahead and purchase it! You are a an excellent teacher. Thank you so much:)

  • @GeorgeConstantinouonline

David, OMG!!! soon as I downloaded this app to start learning it and lost my toolbars and thought I need to educate myself and started watching your video!!! It's almost the first thing you mention!!! Thank you!

  • @electroceuticalhealth1630

Awesome. I have never used Photoshop because of it's complexity and difficulty. Even last week I was interviewing fora job and I told them I could not draw a circle, even with a computer. I know (knew) essentially nothing about graphics, and this class taught me enough to feel confident I can not only use this tool, but produce some good looking projects. I am looking forward to firing up Pixelmator and dumping all the idiot tools I have been trying to use for banners, memes, posters, business cards, posters, etc. Amazingly clear and concise instructor, and he covered tons of tricks that gave me a good grasp of how artists work, while still staying focused on covering all the basics. David just became my go-to instructor for anything he teaches that I want to learn. Looking forward to looking thru his catalog of courses. And Pixelmator should just about be done downloading now, so off I go.

Well done, David. I'm an Indie author. I recently purchased Pixelmator to help me create 3D book covers and ad pages. Would love to see a tutorial on how to use Pixelmator on how to do these things. Not so much looking for how to create a book cover from scratch but how to take an original cover's jpg and convert it into a 3D book cover and then use that cover in an ad that could be used in the back of other books as well as on Facebook, etc.

David - great tutorial. By the way, there used to be templates available in iPhoto to make personalized stationary to send through MAIL. (It was fantastic.)That's no longer an option in Photos in OS X El Capitan to do the same thing. (You can make cards, calendars, etc., but no templates to add in photos and send through Mail anymore directly from Photos like there were in iPhoto.)
In the export here in Pixelmator, I don't see anything - just my little hope - of a way to export anything here into Mail directly either.
    Any ideas on that?
