Summary: Aaron's released from hospital but he's reluctant to return to the village and ignores Chas in the street. Carl reminds her that the Chas he knows wouldn't give up on her son so easily. She's later relieved when Paddy reveals that Aaron has agreed to see the psychiatrist. At Smithy, Aaron's grateful for the normality when Adam pays him a visit. However, it's clear that Aaron's still in a fragile state and can't cope with being mollycoddled. Adamant that she's going to be there for Aaron, Chas decides to move back into Smithy, much to the surprise of Paddy and Carl. Is that really what Aaron needs? How will Carl react?

I think the smile on Paddy's face when he leaves Aaron and Adam is from relief. He realizes that Aaron is back to him old self a little.
"A little birdy told me you missed me so much that you broke out of the hospital early"...oh Adam! Stop doing that to me. Are you flirting? Are you being cute? I can't decipher it and I love it!
"We have to be careful not to crowd him" 3 seconds later "I'm moving back in" Chas should follow her own advice.

True I agree that everyone deserves a second chance, but Aaron has given Chas so many chances to the point it becomes really hard for him to open up to her. She keeps disappointing him by saying and doing the wrong thing that it becomes a routine. He still gives her chances to test her and see if he can open up to her
I know Chaz has a lot of flaws, but I can't help loving her. She honestly loves her son and is trying to be there for him.
I know I've said it before, but seriously Chas' self-centeredness knows no bounds.

I swear that usually if someone attempts suicide they have a psychiatric evaluation and usually get sectioned into a psych ward... how come Aaron was allowed to go straight home, especially with the way he said he still wishes he was dead?
Good thing he wasn't. That would've only made it worse. Being consensually checked in to one of those - that's good. But being forced against your will - then you're not ready for it, and it will only make it worse, you will lie about being fine, say all the things you think they want to hear to let you out, and you will continue lying because of the fear they will do that to you again. All people around you think you're fine, but you aren't but you keep it well hidden, because you don't trust them anymore.
I wonder about that as well, excpecely since there was someone from the psychological service when he went to hospital because of septicaemia caused by self harming...
I was evaluated after, but lying is way too easy so that didn't work out. They wanted to put me in a psych ward, but I didn't want to go and lied my way out of it anyways. So yeah they just let me go home after 3 days.

Totally forgot that the driver is on the right hand side ( in England) - so when I saw Aaron sitting in the seat I thought--- why in the hell is paddy letting Aaron drive? DUH
It is so nice to see Adams being there for his friend. It is so ironic after all their fights, Aaron is only letting Adams to comfort him. They are such good friends.

@littletugartbug While I absolutely hate Chas as a mother and a character, I don't think what Aaron did should be taken lightly just because he happened to be saved. But then I've never taken Suicide lightly.
even Clyde the dog is a good actor :) ... oh Chas, just get off Aaron's case. you might drive him to his second attempt at suicide.
Does anyone else get the sense that Adam is flirting with Aaron a little bit? I know Adam's not gay, but I kinda wonder if he is flirting a little on purpose to make Aaron feel more wanted. I could be wrong.
P.S. Love that Aaron's watching some random show about parrots! I cracked up so hard when I saw that, I don't know why.

Aaron is such a good eye roller! And if I had to live with Chas I would commit suicide so lets not give Aaron a second go, yeah. He's trying to recover here Chas seriously....he doesn't need your high pitch nagging 24/7.

Chas has lost her damn mind, do she think sticking to Aaron is going to stop him from trying to kill himself. he can do that any time. If she move back in he may move out or run away then what! she don't think at all. Shes adding to his stress and don't see it.
