To better understand the power of the GTR, remember it's a V6 giving a W16 a run for its money. To compete with a car ten cylinders superior to you takes guts. Just imagine the same V6 engine upgraded to a V10, or better still, if Nissan created a W16 of their own with the same fine-tuning they made in the GTR's V6....

Considering a Bugatti is marginally more expensive than a GTR (At least when you buy it initially), I would HOPE that it would win in racing. And this is coming from a GTR fan.
Bugatti was not built to drag race and yet it is right there and lest you forget... a short time latter when the GT-R I has shot it's load the Bugatti cruzes up to 257.

I doubt it, and even if it did blow up the cost to fix the entire engine would cost less than the Bugatti's tires which go for over 40k and will only last maybe 15000 miles if you're lucky, and that's not even pushing it. I think AMS also has a pretty good track record when it comes to their GT-R packages.

I won't say you're wrong because I understand you meant that based on value per performance, GT-R is way worthy than Veyron. But just to tell that people that actually able to buy Veyron, don't actually really into racing. Probably in this video the Veyron driver enter probably to test it out against tuned GTR and never really want to make his Veyron for 100% drag purpose

Watch it again, or are my eyes tired. Both cars were slow off the line, but the GTR got a better start and then after about 30 metres, it looked like the GTR either hit the brakes or took his foot off the accelerator. Had he of not done that, the GTR would never of been caught on a 1/4 mile. Even a standard none- black edition would of beaten the Veyron.
That was the worst start to a race I think I've ever seen. Why is it the people who own these supercars can't drive them? The crowd looked completely disinterested as well.
