I just bought a Proframe helmet and broke it on the first ride out, I tried this big gap and landed rear tire first, catapulpting me over the bars, smashing my head and breaking the helmet. I don't know if I should thank the helmet for saving my life or something, but I the feeling of wallet-pain of a helmet breaking on my first crash will stick on me forever.
A helmet should be replaced after a crash, whether it breaks or not. A crash can make the helmet ineffective, even if it doesnt look broken, so it might not save your life on the next crash.
Old post I know but I have literally just done the same thing with the TLD Stage helmet. Greatful it worked but the cost for one time use. Also £200 of damage to the bike. Fox Rampage for me next to save the money.

One one do you recommend. Ive just bought proframe but slightly too tight, taking it back tomorrow. Was looking at the rampage originally
i think rampage is better helmet but to heavy for me, proframe is not a 5 star helmet but over all i think it s a fine light helmet
