- Been a while since I have flown this bird but these two sorties quickly reminded me why it's my favourite strike jet.

Nice, Harrier is just dope..!
to me harrier is better at CAS, as it can do more sorties per 24 hours, u can literally have FARP 30 miles behind enemy lines, and go strike with laser rockets, go back, rearm go again.. u can attack 2x by the time a10 can do it once.. plus its faster than a10 so its like 3x more efficient..

Lately I started to try the new laser maverick E, with tpod I was surprised how easy and seems like less steps you have to press then the maverick F. With the new laser maverick, you only have to use the tpod camera flir/ccd. Nice how the dmt to sidewinder slave thing.
That's what I would of used if the server allowed the tpod

For me it's the best server to play the cat as fox 3 servers the phoenix just ain't it lol

I Think of it as a faster more simple to use A-10, on a modern server where it can carry JDAMs and the TGP it’s solid A2G choice. Also the gun is second only to the A-10, GAU-12 rips…

You can carry up to 14 bombs. 10 LJDAMs and it also has APKWS. It's very good in a dogfight as well and I guarantee you will kill more ground targets more quickly in a Harrier than anything else (unless you park some undefended static tanks in one place and use 105s with no wind).
I saw a photo once of a Harrier carrying either aim7 or sidearms. I dont know if it was some kind of edited photo, but it got my attention to wonder about if they ever did have a better sidearm or a2a version. It would make since to have a longer range missile and shoot it with Bore sight.

I love using the Harrier on this map. Especially if launching from the assault boat. It just feels...right.
I did a mission just like this on my "FreeRangeLemon" DCS channel a while back, I survived a SAM hit and a belly landing at the strip you took off from.

I'd say theoretically that this mission is a good use of the Harrier and its technological advantage. That got me thinking though, as I continue to watch this video, how long a real mission must take? I bet this video stored 1.5-2 hours of footage at least, but a real pilot would probably be in the seat for like 8 hours...
This is all my speculation. I simply don't know the real answer. Could anyone be inclined to answer back? Thanks.
6:40 Nah, Harrier sensors are really complicated, I wasn't thinking you were doing it poorly, I was thinking, "Man, we all know what that's like."
