Jumping a stretch limo | 2021 Florida Gambler 500

Jumping the infamous Team Long Haulin Limo.
For the last 2 years this 1997 Lincoln Town car stretch limo has cemented itself in Gambler 500 History through acts of bravery and sheer stupidity. With a heavy right foot and Zero mechanical empathy it has accomplished feats no one ever thought possible. It died the way it lived, in a blaze of Glory.

Throughout the 1980's - a friend and I had a hobby of picking up huge old luxury cars cheap, taking them offroadin' specifically for the sole intent purpose of catching the most air possible. A 1967 Chrysler Imperial four door. A 1970 Dodge Polara. A 1973 buick electra 225. A 1959 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 Fiesta Station Wagon. Last, but not least: the 1958 Desoto Firedome. Every car, prior to being taken to it's abuse would get the 8 track player installed, Cher - girl from ipenema playing. This was imperative for baja-ing.I think the winner for most air caught was the polara. 70 MPH or more. Off a steep short bridge over a canal that was soon taken down. East Norwich st., Bay View, Milwaukee area. The car landed in some lady's yard, plowed up a few hundred yards of soil and turf, lost all forward gears and entire exhaust system. She was picking weeds from her flower beds at the time. She was still screaming hysterically as we rode off in reverse belching and coughing flames from open headers, the car bent into the letter "C". I wound up in the passenger floorboard and he managed to somehow lay on the back deck where the dog with the shaking head always sat.
