The pictures are so cool. It adds so much to the peoples story...TY so much Tony
I love the tours in that cemetery. Sujch a neatly kept place and so large.
LOVE the porcelain photos, it’s like peering through a window into the past. It really touches my soul.
I love the stones with pictures. I think everyone should have them. I could spend hours looking at headstones with pictures. It gives the graves a more human touch in my opinion. Love it!
Some of those 100+ year old pictures have held up amazingly well. So interesting! Thanks Tony😊
Wow 1st,, Awesome another video, Woohooo your spoiling us Tony, Thank you
It seems, that people in those days knew how to take a proper picture.
Nice dark suits and ties, and dresses. We have become a much more casual society. Awesome video, thank you very much Tony. Have a great day. 😊
I also love the shadows of the trees on the sidewalks. The way they are trimmed you can see their branches in the shadow. So interesting and lovely.
I love these tours and looking at the pictures.
Very Nice thank you for sharing this with US
It's amazing how long the pictures have lasted. Thank you muchly for sharing Tony.
They look like lovely italian grandparents
What a beautiful day,and a great walk among the stones! 😊
I wonder if any of these people have living relatives?
Great tour and photos! So many people.
I love these stone photos so much, I'm having one added to my crypt vault plate
Thank you for being respectful of the graves. I always try to avoid walking on the graves unless they are of my own people. You never know how the people were buried in the old graves and the graves might be ready to collapse and your step might be the one which causes it to collapse.
Man, that tree growing around the headstove is something else! You know it's roots probably got into the person buried there. They might be looking back at you! lol
My father's parents were born in Sicily. Italy has many gravestones with photographs on them, and the tradition continued in the USA. We have a number of them on the graves of immigrants to the US in our family. The graveyards of Italy are beautiful, and there are many videos which feature them online.
Very very nice Tony 👍 you know a photo on a grave to me gives a visitor a more personal connection, like you’re kinda meeting them in a way. 👍
Loved this❤ Great pictures❤ The graveyards in Italy look like this? Dont waste any space❤
Yes, I do believe they resemble the ones in Italy
Brilliant video 💯📸😊
Thank you 🙌
Love ur tours! Love seeing the pictures on the headstones.
Glad you like them!

There is another channel that did the cemeteries of Chicago, that featured portraits of the deceased on the graves.
I am an old school Sicilian, not Italian, and we are all proud of our names, we don't use a false heritage or use fake smiles.
I’m sorry that video is about 20 minutes long. What part of it were you referring to?
At 14:16, Alice Jeanie died 2 days before the Titanic sank.
Wow…
Thanks for the info
You gotta wonder why so many people died at such a relatively young age…tuberculosis? Pneumonia? Influenza?
I’m sure all of the above
It just seems like there were SO many burials between 1909-1912. Something must’ve been going on!
Are most of these pictures post partum??
I’d say they’re ALL post partum given that the translation of post partum means “after birth”.
@@lisaniermann4103 was about to type the same thing lol
Postmortem?
We don’t put pics on the headstones here in Canada but I wish we did. I think is so kewl to do that.
I’ve seen many of these grave stones with portraits on them in cemeteries. I live in southwestern Ontario
@@randywatts6969 ohhh kewl…I was born and raised in New Brunswick.
