Honda Monkey TV - Removing the exhaust system

In this quick how-to, I show you how to remove the standard exhaust from your 2018-2020 Honda Monkey 125.
Very little needed, you'll need a 12mm socket, socket extension, and a 5mm Allen key.
Note: you don't actually HAVE to remove the plastic end cap at all.

The service manual instructs to replace the muffler gasket with a new one whenever the muffler is removed. It also recommends replacing the exhaust pipe gasket whenever the exhaust pipe is removed. There are different torque requirements for replacement of the hardware from 7 lbf-ft to 20 lbf-ft, so one should consult the service manual.

Hi - Yes it does, however although this video is specifically about removal, its worth mentioning - Personally I re-use some gaskets when possible, and due to the very low mileage in this case both the tubular manifold-to-main pipe gasket and circular head-to-manifold were in perfect condition for re-use.
And yes, always torque accordingly.
