- GHOST SEEN IN THE WOODS! Haunting Despair of Winstanley Hall. Occupation of the land goes back to the 12th century by the Winstanley Family. The current derelict buildings date back to 1555.
This place is the site of three confirmed suicides and a ghost of a man talking in the grounds. Tales of a dead pony, other paranormal activities from pebbles thrown, shadows and bangs are said to haunt this ancient ground.

Hi Gordon, live quite close to the hall and just for your info the pony named Dick which is buried in the grounds was loved by the family at that time and so much so that a pub close to the entrance to the estate was called the Pony Dick Inn. On the opposite side of the road to the pub was Pony Dick colliery which closed in the 60’s but remained open to pump water from Windy Arbour colliery until the mid 70’s. Lots of history around the area mainly related to coal mining.
Excellent! Thank you for adding more to this story!
Intriguing place here Gordon. Some powerful stories there. Just grateful you didn’t fall through anything. The face and blonde lady seems very real. Great stuff.
Its interesting that you all get affected differently on each explore. Thanks for doing the summary at the end, really good idea. Great video well done!!
Our pleasure!
19:45 lots of orbs floating around!
I do like your videos and content Nodrog. Keep them coming. 😄
Thanks, will do buddy 👻
Spooky old place there Gordon, I'm intrigued about the fast flashing LED on Cassies phone, looks like it's only detectable by night vision cameras.
Yes. It’s like inferred light or LiDAR that measures shapes and uses an algorithm. Same for face detection.
Love your content I used to work for London Underground down on the northern line,
I’ve seen stuff that I can never explain which I’ll never forget would love for you to explore the tunnels!? 👻
Yes we would too! Spooky 👻 thanks for your comment 🥳
Wow what an amazing building/building's. You guys definitely need to go back there especially in the daytime. Would love to see what its like. I'd love to see it in real life 😂 so many rooms & building's. Just imagining what it must have been like back in the day. I did Google it and the photos are amazing. Such a beautiful old building. Hope its not too long before your back, and hey dont forget the rope to get down to those tunnels. 😮😂 👍
