That ball that rolled is one of two meditation balls. You move them and they make that ringing sound. That sound you thought was a clock was actually those mediation balls.
I believe they're called boading balls.
Yep I had some years ago! They are really cool! I knew what it was as soon as I saw the ball roll towards them!

Im bingeing these videos, and have decided to make a game out of it. Take a shot every time one of them says the word "Sinister".
The chime noise is definitely the ball. They’re called baoding balls, or chime balls. They usually come in 2’s. You turn them in your palms and they are supposed to touch acupressure points, and be calming. They’re actually quite heavy and definitely would not move on their own. That was pretty cool, as was the door!

And I've watched several times and Joe did not bump that brass shoe horn. He was too far inside the room and Elliot was no where near the door either at the moment Joe heard that chime.
It does sound like those balls! I bought a couple for space clearing years and my kids used to love to ring them when they were little. I took them back out after watching this and that chime does sound a lot like them!
I KNOW WHAT THE CHIMING IS AT 4:30!! It's being created by what you see rolling on the floor. It's called a Baoding Ball. They're used for meditation, physical therapy, and as a fidget toy. I actually have a set and recognized the sound, then saw it was a small ball rolling with what looks like a ying-yang sign on it. Since they originated in China, Baoding Balls often have spiritual markings on them such as the ying-yang sign. My personal ones have a panda bear on them.
And then at 15:53 you can see the ball in the corner by the stair. My guess is the chime Joe heard at 8:24 is from the ball as Joe's foot hit it when he walked through the doorway. If you listen VERY closely (with headphones 😜) at 8:53 you can hear the chime again just under the floorboard creak and Joe talking as he walks back into the room. Sorry to debunk these chimes, but who knows what caused that ball to roll into that spot to begin with!

@@theresahostiuck6493i thought that too, but they're already up the stairs a while when they turned to see that ball rolling in their direction...possibly it fell from the hutch, but even the direction its rolling would make that difficult

I’ve only just recently discovered you guys, but you do your investigations in ways I’ve never come across before.
You don’t jump to assumptions, you’re very open minded to the potential of what phenomena it could be instead of treating everything as paranormal.
But the door closing just proves that the full body apparition was exactly what you saw!
You should be proud of the commitment that you give for finding the locations as most paranormal investigators use the same locations and we believe these places are haunted due to ‘made up’ experiences.

The chime is coming from the ball that rolled just at the bottom of the stairs. they are Chinese metal and have bells inside them, you move them around and they chime and are supposed stress relievers.
Fantastic, enjoyed every minute and it's so refreshing to see you both calm and standing still when something happens instead of screaming and running like a bat out of hell trying to find where the noises came from, well done lads really enjoyed 👍

Ever since my cat died I sometimes feel her jump on the bed and feel pressure against my body as though she has curled up next me.
I've also felt my cat - a soul pet - jump on the bed, only once, I felt to say goodbye. It's very distinctive, isn't it? I've seen my other cat come down the stairs, again, only once. I found both comforting.

There is no breeze, no object falling against the door, no loose floorboards plus you were standing still when the door shut. Plus the phenomenon just before it happened makes it lean more to the paranormal. I did laugh after the door closed the slow backwards movement of I'm slowly getting the F out of here and hopeful nobody sees me 😂

May i make a suggestion to you? Try wearing fleece jackets on investigations? I know you're in Britain so it could piss pour any time so wearing canvas is more ideal, but the friction from those jackets/vests is loud af with your mics. There's another kind of entity that inhabits old and abandon buildings and goes quiet when people move around - vermin. Rats and mice get in wherever and whenever they can and they can make all sorts of noises, depending on where they are and what they are doing. They will freeze, then resume their activities if they hear nothing more. Scufflings, scratchings and scrabbling (often within walls) are specialities, but they can also knock things over (rats can grow very large), ping glasses and tableware in cupboards etc. I live in a medieval house and, unfortunately, I know! (Also very old houses make their own noises as they heat up, cool down, move in the wind etc.)

This episode cries out for a deep dive on one of your livestream talks! A couple things I'm struck by is how much time you said you spent before anything happened. The way the shadow you saw went into the room just before the door shut, and the cold inside once Joe re-entered. Once you had the three loud noises, could you tell the source? It sounded to me like something(s) fell on the floor and sorta bounced. I wasn't clear on that... Super episode, guys! Take Care.
It's all the things that get edited out we don't think about but that's where all the hard work really is. When stuff is happening that's the real payoff.

I have a question, I've noticed that ALOT of these places that you investigate look like the people just up and left, (personal belongings and all) with sometimes the electricity still on...is that normal?? Most of the time where I'm at in Ohio in the US the homes are for the most part empty and for sure the electricity is off when it becomes abandoned. Definitely gives your locations a much creepier vibe with everything still inside.

Granted I'm 13 minutes in, but the ball rolling at the beginning is one of those "stress balls" no? They're like thin metal that make that metal noise...you roll them together in your hands to relieve stress. Weird how it rolled towards you, but I suppose it's possible it was slowly rolling off that hutch and just fell off as you were going up the stairs...again I'm 13 minutes in, this could all change

31:53 - 31:55 Is that your lights/lighting reflecting off that dresser that then you move away or step in front of?! Cause it definitely goes from being light to darker as a shadow moves in front of it from left to right, really noticeable if keep eyes on that tv or whatever that is facing us on top of dresser, can see the change in light on it clearly, again if not you or your lights causing it then means you caught shadow on camera there
Edit: okay so was actually the opposite of what I thought, so that was the "light" you saw reflecting off dresser and not a shadow going over the lit up dresser but light going over the dresser then disappearing making it look like a shadow appearing

Great captures you can clearly see the light moves through and there is a slight movement on the wall which is rare to get such a light… from what I’ve watched over the years. But freakiest thing was you Joe(well not you personally but .,, well u know wat I mean), was your reaction when the shadow went between u and then the door moved. Made my heart go in my mouth. I’m late to the game but this episode is well worth a watch. As much as you guys voiced out loud that you were feeling a bit unnerved, I thought you did a fantastic job of maintaining your composure and respect in this high activity environment. You didn’t come across as a threat in any way, showed some of your own vulnerabilities and I think this approach got through to whatever spirits were there. Love your investigations, you have your cameras from different angles so that if something happens, you prove that it was not by your hands. e.g. the door closing, some people would have said, " Joe closed it' but then the angle of the other camera is shown and we can see quite clearly, the door moved on it;s own. That black and white ball, it looks like a Chinese chiming ball, I have two in a box and what you do is roll the both of them around your hand to exercise your hand, and they do a chiming noise, something inside chimes. Ooo that light, defiantly came from the first living room area and shone into the little hallway! That door seemed to close with quite some force to it as well so doesn’t seem like it would do that naturally unless the house is on a slant, but then it would do it every time rite!
The chime noise could have been from the bat flying past it and you catching the door but who knows! Seems a good place to go back to 😊 rather you then me 😂
