Hi Danielle 👏👏 (lovely name btw)… I just wanted to let you know that this story, and the way you told it, is thee best episode you’ve had in my opinion. It’s so hard to listen to some of these stories; I tend to keep towards the mild ones. The teacher was an idiot, plain n simple, so you had to laugh. But then the buildup to Ashley totally recovering and providing us an inspirational message at the end was so positive and unexpected it blew my mind, so congrats 🥳😃

When I was in middle school, I had a math teacher just like this. He would have the popular girls (12 Y/O's) sit in his chair, on his lap, on his desk and parade around him and it was so disgusting. He was extremely rude and arrogant towards the rest of us and I always hated him. He would scream at me and embarrass/humiliate me in front of the other students. The last day of class, he told me "goodbye Tamara, I'll miss you the most" and I actually flipped him off and left when the bell rang. Then, I kid you not, as soon as I get home that day, my grandparents yell for me to come in the kitchen and on the News, there was his mugshot and he was being arrested for MULTIPLE accounts of statutory rape. He's still in prison to this day thank God but he most likely won't get out until I'm around 35 and I'm 24 now.

I was 19 when I started dating my now-husband, who was then 31, and hell, even I agree with you on principle. (His friends were _ruthless_ about the fact that he would dare date someone so much younger.) I will say there is a difference that lies in actively seeking out younger partners who can be manipulated vs just happening to date someone younger. There's an inherent power imbalance with these kinds of age gaps no matter how you look at it, and it's always the responsibility of the older partner to work to restore a balance if they're actually interested in a healthy relationship.

The fact that he married her right after she turned 18 is also a HUGE RED FLAG, but would easily appear as a good thing, like hey this is serious for him.
It only means that now, she can’t look for other options, NOW everything she does he would have a say in it, NOW if he wants a family he can with no guilt demand it even if she’s too young to be a mother.
Being older has its advantages. And when the younger person is literally below 20, they’re more easily manipulated and controlled. And nobody can say shit, cause they’re married.
He probably realised as an adult he needs to have an actual personality to get a woman, which I guess he didn’t. And hence went for a child, and married her before her brain fully developed.

They get kids to trust them by treating them too much like adults/friends. So unfortunately, what Danielle experienced and what happened in this case are actually far more typical than most people realize. He out of nowhere started cussing him and calling him a pervert and I was worried that he was about to catch a felony. They just suspended him a day. 10 years later the teacher is in the news for multiple allegations of inappropriate relationships with students. They didn't suspend him because that was precisely why he was teaching at our school. He had gotten moved from another district for his pedophilic tendencies. But the really crazy one was what I discovered. Once our young gym teacher disappeared for the whole period leaving us on the track to run. I had to pee so I was like screw it and went in. I get to the locker room hallway and I hear it. Our gym teacher screwing the TA (a senior softball player) I was so freaked out I never said a word.

This story really hit me.. I was groomed at very young age. I was 14, he was 34. A friend of mine introduced me to him. We were hanging out, he was acting very nice and kind of helped me to escape my depression and eating disorder. Until one day I really felt like I have fallen for this guy. We started a sexual relationship. I was virgin. I forgot to mention that he had a wife and a kid. God I am so ashamed of myself. The whole thing continued around a year and half, I had to keep it secret from everyone because obviously it was illegal. When I realized that what I was doing was wrong I tried to break up with him. It turned out that he recorded videos while we had sex and he went completely crazy, he threatened me that he will upload them online. Thank god I realized that he was a pedo and posting this content online will put him in prison. I confronted him. After listening to this story, I am thankful that he was not some kind of psycho murderer. I never shared this story with anyone.. We also had another teacher that was extremely flirtatious with students, was rumored to have slept with students, would say inappropriate things to female students like that he preferred plus size women because they’re more willing to do certain things and I also remember that he’d always carry midol on him to give to students if they needed it. He ended up being talked to by the police, let go and then went on to marry a former student.

I grew up in the 90s and this kind relationship was common. By today's standards it's all off but believe me, it was not seen as grooming. Unless the child was under 16 and the age gap was pronounced, people didn't take much notice. As a former teenager i can confirm that some teenagers are full on. We hope the adults will guard and respect those kids but often they take advantage of the situation. It's sad.

When I was in high school we had SEVERAL teachers in the 1990s who were exactly like this. In my freshman year the Health teacher who was married with a baby and was an outrageous flirt. He got a Senior pregnant which cost him his job, his marriage and kid, and his reputation...surprisingly he married the student (her family had money) and she had the baby. The next was the Female gym teacher who used to get a power trip by forcing us to shower in front of her, if we didn't then she would fail us for the semester and we would have to retake in my case she would not let me leave until she saw me shower and still failed me and threatened my graduation. It wasn't until she was caught trying to do the same to the boys that anything happened. The history teacher liked to look down girls tops, he failed me when I yelled at him in front of the class for it. He tried to take me into another classroom for a discussion but after the gym teacher I wasn't having it. I yelled loud enough to draw a crowd that he was a pervert and to go ahead and fail me. He was forced into retirement when other girls came forward. Last...the Math teacher who was caught masturbating in his car while watching a girls softball game.

They were completely aware but not once did I ever hear about any kind of relationship with a student. Actually students would joke about the teachers cheating on each other and drama between the teachers😂
I think putting a bunch of young individuals going through puberty and learning about themselves might bring out some crushes that are inappropriate but for the TEACHER to act on it, and act this way is beyond disgusting. 🤮

Then again, she was very young and we all do things or have been coerced into things we wouldn’t do well into adulthood. It’s shitty for the boyfriend, but I do sympathize with her as well.

When I was in middle school there was a male teacher that had a relationship with an 8th grader (13yo) and this man was in his mid to late 30s. Gross. He ended up losing his job but no further punishment and I recently found out he is currently working in a public swimming pool (IDK what the correct term is in English as I'm Norwegian) where there are lots of kids... Just horrendous!

Here in the US we also call it PE some do call it gym. I listen to your stories, I hate that the schools don't do a deeper background check on their staff. I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with any monster., we also had one in our school and it was in PE as well. We were made to take showers before class was over. I would lie and say I did, just to get out of class before the bell rang for the next class. Thank you, for the stories you picked out. I love how you break down the stories that you tell, it's nice to know you have feelings and it shows. I choke up on most of these stories you tell. I also tell my family to keep it down when I am listening to your CZcams 🚨channel. Thanks again, here watching from Anderson IN.

He never took anything passed teaching and I could see he felt uncomfortable in those situations.

In Jr high our art teacher was very handsome and every girl threw themselves at him. He ended up having long affair with a student and he was forced to resign. There were other cases too. Thankfully no one tried to kill any.

In 2007 to my absolute shock and horror, my Elementary gym teacher Ed Barber was arrested and accused of having an inappropriate sexual relationship with his then 16 year old stepdaughter. Additionally, it came to light that when he was still in his role as an elementary school physical education teacher, he was accused of allowing Kindergarteners to “massage” him, which parents rightfully found to be inappropriate behavior to say the very least. He was suspended while the investigation was ongoing, but he was ultimately cleared of any wrongdoing and no charges were filed against him. I remember that he was always so kind and was absolutely adored by his students including myself. In the following years, despite his prior sketchy behavior around children, he was elected to serve as a chairman on the board of supervisors. I still find it incredibly difficult to rectify the juxtaposition of the beloved teacher I remember and the complete POS monster he truly is.
Reports of Child Porn, Failed Polygraph Emerge in Barber Case
The legal wrangling over Ed Barber's pretrial motions Monday provided few details surrounding the former county supervisor's arrest and conviction of sexual battery against his teenage stepdaughter in December 2005.
But a few morsels of evidence - such as police's alleged discovery of 44 images of child pornography on his computer and his failing a polygraph test Aug. 14, 2006 - offer a powerful glimpse into the things to come.
Barber, the former chairman of the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors and longtime elementary school teacher, has maintained his innocence throughout - even as he pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of sexual battery.
As it moves from criminal court to civil, the case becomes an open book. Barber's victim was a juvenile, 16 at the time of the assault, so most of the details have been kept under lock and key to protect the identity of the victim.
But that promises to change in the coming months. By the time the trial starts, Barber's victim will be 18, says Michael J. Sharman, an attorney representing the victim, who is suing Barber for $7.35 million. Sharman says he expects she will be able to take the stand to testify against her stepfather.
At the July 2 hearing lawyers began sorting through what evidence would likely be introduced in an upcoming trial and how much of the police investigation would be suppressed. Aside from a few blacked-out names of minors, probably not much, Chesterfield Circuit Court Judge Michael Allen seemed to suggest.
Barber wasn't in the courtroom. A county attorney showed up with the police file - minus a copy of the hardware from two computers seized from Barber's home - and promised to provide all the evidence to the court within the week.
Allen threw out Sharman's motion for summary judgment, which contended Barber had already conceded guilt by pleading guilty to the two misdemeanors. So the case moves into the phase of trying the original case, to some extent, in a courtroom open to the public.
Perhaps the first big bombshell: After Barber's conviction, he failed a polygraph test (a condition of his probation) administered by a polygrapher who specializes in sexual-offense cases. Apparently, Barber did not admit to committing the crime to sexual-offense counselors or to the polygrapher. Barber was asked, point-blank, if he committed the sexual assault Dec. 26, 2005. He responded "no."
The polygrapher, in his report, says Barber's response was "clearly deceptive."
In court, Barber's attorney, William W. Tunner, says he spoke with his client about the polygraph results. "He denies it," Tunner told the court, regardless of the test results.
The 44 images of "child pornography" were found on "his computer" according to the sexual offense counseling report, which Sharman obtained through subpoena. It was based on evidence supplied by police investigators. Consider Pandora's box officially ajar.

@DanielleKirsty11 there was a physical education teacher at my school who was let go for being inappropriate with students. My school was Mediapolis Community High School, Mediapolis Iowa, 52637 in Des Moines county. You have to look into this case. He was hired and fired from multiple schools in different states. He eventually faced criminal charges after doing a horrific thing to a boy, over the course of DAYS, inside of an Illinois school. My old high achool is now facing charges of negligence because they didn’t report his sexual perversion before they got out of hand.
I don’t even know the whole story, but what I do know if sickening.

there were stories like this at my high school. a female teacher that there were always rumors about her and students. a young male teacher who got fired because one student he was sleeping with found out about another student he was sleeping with and got jealous so she finally told everything. I dont blame the girls, it was just a crazy way for it all to come out. and there was also a 50 somethings male teacher who used to make inappropriate comments to me and then wrote me a letter about wanting to leave his wife for me and a bunch of inappropriate things he wanted to do in his hot tub once the wife was gone. he got "asked to leave" and that was it but I later found out his wife found out about some stuff he said to a student at his next school and she left him. the guy tried to add me on FB years later but no thanks. they need some kind of special screening for things like this before people can be teachers.

They ended up getting married unbelievably and the last time I saw him he was working as a gas station attendant. He looked absolutely miserable! It’s incredible how common this seems to be 🤢

My daughter (aged 10) has an amazing teacher. He did training at the school couple of years back and when complete and initially no job after training the whole class was pretty much in tears when he left. Now back and teaching again and a recent project was Victorian child labours - cleaning floors, bathrooms, making family clothes etc. All kids uploaded photos of themselves acting situations, teacher (in online group chat with kids AND parents) said "well done guys wow maybe I could use your help or take some tips as you guys are obviously way much better than me at keeping home". Some families complained (still on group chat) his comment was inappropriate as "inviting children to his house". They were kind of shot down as WTF? No wonder there is a reduction in people wanting to become teachers these days. It is like each is tarred with the brush of people like the monster here.
