  • A great method of applying paint in a structured, analytical manner, in order to produce a background that looks balanced and random! Makes sense in my head anyways! Have a go!

Love it - you taught this technique to me (and a few others) at Rainbow Silks many years ago - I've used it ever since but it's great to see it done again and with the stamping.

I loved your video, and I learned A Lot! …darker paints on less bold prints, lighter paints on bolder prints….hmmm, I never really made that association before, thanks!

hi Carol, Flexi blocks we have been selling for a few years now. They are thin acrylic blocks, used as 'handles' for EZ mounted stamps. I prefer this thin acrylic style of block, as it helps transfer the pressure applied through the block to the stamp and onto the paper. Particularly good for those large, collage style stamps where you really need the pressure and squish to get the image to transfer clearly all over.

Thank you for the detailed explanations: it's always more interesting to know why you do it that way better than this way. Composition in triangle are always well balanced and very eyecatching.

Thanks Leandra - I'm really appreciating the video's with all the different techniques. It was a lovely idea for us to have these to gen up on techniques over Christmas!
I'll remember this 'corner, corner side' technique - it produces a lovely look - as you say 'balanced but still random'. Love the paints - great colours. Thanks for the tip about keeping the stamps on the baby wipes when you're going to use them again.

Hi Patti, could be your connection dropping out btw you and CZcams. Or maybe it's the browser you use, have you tried watching via a different web browser. Some of the videos are quite long too, so perhaps its the volume of info, also our vids are High definition, so perhaps if you change your view setting to low def, 720, then it won't drop out. HTH
