I was burnt out from silence on Saurian, disappointed in mesozoica, confused with Chronicle collectibles and now this. It’s like every time a project comes, it’s either delayed indefinitely or up in flames
From what I’ve heard he’s a known scammer and once people found out he nuked everything. It’s a really weird situation, he should’ve refunded everyone from his previous project before starting up again. Now he’s screwed over more people.
My first real scam in my life, had to be from Artic Figures, it was on Godzilla Day (November 3rd) of this year when I wanted to actually celebrate instead of being confused if G-Day was in May or November, so I asked my dad if I could buy the $100 model kit once since it was the least expensive, but because of all the reviews he put out, I never thought he would have been a scammer, I just wanted to celebrate G-Day for once and get an actual good Zilla figure, and thanks for the files of the 3D models of the figures, I just have to get a 3D Printer and other equipment and other stuff, I thank you a lot, also I’d say you deserve more subs 👍

Yeah man you hit the nail right on the head. I remember talking about this or something similar with you on another one of your reviews. This seems to happen far too often and it goes to show maybe we as consumers should just accept what we have on the market, and if we have the skills ourselves to customise them, we should for ourselves and not for others.
This is why nanmu is my saving light in the dark making affordable figures with good detail and paint jobs and they just dropped the articulated raptor figures
I purchased a v rex a few months ago I always suspected something was suspicious because of how long it was taking. It’s a shame, such talent but chiding the scammer route

Back in the days I ordered the Graboid figure from Artic figures from the ETSY-shop. Lucky enough, I received this figure. Later I pre-ordered also the V-Rex figures from this ETSY-shop. Time passes by and the ETSY-shop from Artic figures disappears. I didn't received this V-Rex until now. So I lost my money, too. I have the best experience so far with buying figures from the brands: SUPER7, HIYA, PNSO, NANMU,.... This is safer. From private creators, I have good experience with MarcoMakes (ETSY-shop). First Zetto now Artic figures. It's people like them who make me not want to trust anymore third party websites that sell their merchandise. Don't get me wrong there are good ones but due to what they did, I have second thoughts now.
As a customer of Arctic figures I should have suspected he was scamming I only got one figure when I ordered two it was the male T-Rex and the female T-Rex from The Lost World unfortunately I only got the male. (It's completely unpainted.)
If you still have it unpainted you can go to artymcfly13 and ask him to paint it for you for 50 dollars and im actually sending my artic figures zilla to him to custom paint some parts and assemble it
@@TheFallen-ff4xn hard disagree. No matter how much effort they put into it, the issue is the materials. Resin 3d printed figures become loose and floppy with minimal posing and are prone to chipping unless fairly expensive resins are used and even that isn't a guarantee. I like Photon Collectibles, the dude fulfilled all of his orders even after he got hit by a car and he even apologized for how long it took him to fulfill orders, but my Behemoth can hardly stand after just two years. 3D printed resin statues can hold up very well, but resin just isn't a good fit with articulated figures.
Apparently artic figures is a notorious scammer. He pops up with different prints for different fan bases, scams, dips, pops up again a year or two later. His name is Joshua. I almost fell for the vrex and his silla this year. Last time it was his cyberzilla print from the 90s show.
I was genuinely considering buying from them and was tempted to many times but I just decided the prices weren’t worth it thank god I did that and didn’t end up like anyone rlse
Think he got greedy about making this printed. I am printing now the zilla (at 200% on PETG) and he would have a lot less problems if he only sold the 3d models and maybe improve some design flaws (for example the feet and the kness should have been complete ball joints and leave the wire for neck and tail, and like you said on the Vrex the infill on the lower legs should be like 70% for stability)
I'm not too familiar with these independent figure maker that much, so please do enlighten me. I don't understand why when they started to get too much orders for them to handle, they don't try to contact toy company and make a deal. Ofc, I'm not talking about the licensed, legit ones like Bandai, Hiya, nor Super7. Those guys need to pay license fee. But I'm talking about the likes of Legend Creations, and other DST/RD/SHF/SHMA, etc. knockoff manufacturer. Try and contact them, make a deal like sell your models or having royalty per sales or something. Let them handle the production. I mean those Chinese 3rd party/bootlegers got factories, right? Along with plastic printing machine, and capable of mass-production. Maybe I'm too much of a naiive greenhorn, but wouldn't these company able to meet the demands of the market? They could also sell it at a cheaper price and better material for figures like this, thus more people would want it. Granted, you wouldn't want too much attention that'll attract the license holders and licensors, but dem bootlegs always survived anyway.

@@actioncreature It's fine. I found another video talking about the same issue and he confirmed the name and being from Michigan. It's the same scammer. He's scammed so many communities that there was a guy warning people and can immediately tell it's him. Too bad some people from the Transformer community didn't listen. The scam was basically the same as what happened here.

Same here, I got about a week ago an email that says that my Zilla is shipped but no tracking or any information what company even is delivering the parcel so most likely he didn't even really ship anything, I guess to make it look like when it never arrives it is the postal services fault. Also suspicious how after the Indiegogo campaign ended he stopped updating that page and of course now that page is also gone, just like everything else. I really hope someone HONEST makes a poseable Zilla that is not too big like some official Godzilla figure are.

Bought the V Rex off Etsy from Artic back in March. He strung me along for months saying it was coming, don’t worry, he’s not a scammer, he’s just behind… then he stopped responding to emails and messages. Absolute scum of the Earth.
