The voice actor of Edward, Vic Mignogna, was fired over allegations, but anyone that looked into the allegations didn't find them convincing. In fact, some of them made by Monica Rial were inconsistent. The whole #KickVic thing got started because there were people within the anime fandom who had a hatred for Vic because he was flamboyant, was open with his Christian faith, and talked about how his roles as Edward from FMA changed someone's life, so the whole thing exploded in 2019 because the Broly movie was catching popularity. Which would make you think why didn't these people go to the police long before 2019 if they thought Vic was a creep. As for the lawsuit Nick Rekieta funded, looking back on it now, it was going to go nowhere. There wasn't enough evidence to show torturous interference. But as the old saying goes, "the winners will be the lawyers." In the end, I'm just happy that Vic got hired by Anime Matsuri to be a voice dub director. They're making some good progress for a little mom and pop dubbing studio, but I will say that they do dream too big for their own good.

This figure really makes me wish Hiya would use better quality plastic. I wouldn't mind paying an extra 10 to 20 bucks for this figure if it meant not having to deal with the NECA quality plastic and gumy joints.

I mean, to think a small company that's been making Godzilla figures for 2 years would have higher value and make Kaiju that a huge company that's been around for over a decade would be too ridiculous. Right Bandai?

i don't understand why people are taking the same route, leaving the fandom just because one godzilla fan has different experiences in the godzilla community. yes, their bad behavior needs to be exposed. Do not shy away because of your feelings. Just tell who these people are and take action. Again, leaving the fandom doesn't fix anything is so dramatic and so force.

Its been toxic since the “Four Heavenly Kings” days from 10-13 years ago. With those four being some of the biggest enablers.

Also I'll say this a big reason why I'm sure Kaiju Kim and Alyssa are leaving the Fandom so to speak, is because their overpriced fan film didn't get backed and they clearly aren't getting the kind of following they crave or want. Which the fact Kaiju Kim left the fan film out was kind of weird as they were both involved in that.

This has gotta be the most tone deaf response I’ve seen on this issue. You’re basically saying that the girls who endure this should just suck it up and endure continued abuse. It’s not a matter of ‘standing up’, it’s a matter of SAFETY. It’s not as easy as just ‘fighting’ the behavior when you’re the victim of it, and in an environment where more common than it should be. That’s why girls are leaving, they don’t feel SAFE. Also, your statement about experiencing bad behavior being implied in being involved in a community that is predominantly one gender is a load of crap. Just because a majority of a fandom’s members are a certain gender doesn’t mean that fandom would treat someone of another gender poorly, nor should that behavior be acceptable. It’s this kind of thinking that allows this kind of behavior to persist.

Figure can definitely be better but wouldn't hurt doing a repaint to make it look better but I can understand not a lot of people have the skill or money to pay for it but definitely an option
