I still would like to get it only because it would scale properly with the Neca Kong for future stop motion projects of mine and getting that other large 89 figure would be out of the question since it's so pricey. $80 for this? Man, I agree with you there, bud. this does look cheap. As much as I hate SHM in terms of price to value ratio, I prefer paying for that than this. For anyone not familiar with Super7, just so you know for the future, there is not a single reason why you should pay upfront for these figures from their store. The figures never turn out like the digital promos and they can always be found for less than retail later. Super7 should be ashamed. They constantly churn out garbage on nearly all their lines; from Transformers, to Disney, to SilverHawks, to Power Rangers, to the Worst, and now Godzilla. From the paint, to the (lack of) articulation), and the quality control. They don't look good, they don't move, and they often can't even stand. This looks like a $20 playmates figure that is eighty five dollars. Those engineering cuts look like they're a company that has no idea what they're doing. This is one of the worst looking figures I've ever seen. Absolutely insane. Your money deserves better.
It's crazy how all over the place they always are. Their monstar was awesome, the thundercats are usually fun. But then the wrestling figures are awful, these look a bit cheap. The king diamond is good as well. You never know what you will end up with.

I got him just for size and box is very cool can't wait for Destorya and burning Godzilla and hyia king Ghidorah with skull crawler those are the ones I want with the snake men to
As far as scale - the T-Rex Zord is 27 meters, Godzilla at his shortest incarnation is 50 meters. It would have to be 16" tall to roughly be in scale with the Zord, glad they didn't attempt to make these scale together. While the scale is fine imo, that tail gap is disappointing.
There’s a reason this toy is $85 and not $120 like the SHMA, it’s not as articulated but it looks pretty damn good, it’s just going to sit on a shelf to collect dust anyway, but in defense of the people complaining, the toy should be as advertised, it looks matte in the photos but it looks really shiny IRL
Monsterarts only goes up to $120 for non Godzilla figures usually. And this does not look good, it looks worse than the neca figures, and those were hot fucking garbage.
He doesnt look bad. I have burning godzilla and i really like him. People are getting mad just for the fun of it also why are getting mad at the minimal paint? Not like heisei godzilla had a bunch of color anyways.. and brian did say it was supposed to have a torso ball joint but he also said the factory can change things without him approving.
For the price point its pretty mediocre. I'm only getting the Biollante because it will scale nice with the neca 89 godzilla, but I'll be customizing it(it needs it).

Figure can definitely be better but wouldn't hurt doing a repaint to make it look better but I can understand not a lot of people have the skill or money to pay for it but definitely an option
Unfortunately no reviewer is selling the figure to me very well. For the price it is it does look rather naf and although the reviewer said it looks very glossy on camera it's still very off putting. I paint DND minitures so looking at the paint job on this sucks
The more videos I see of these things the more excited I get. Its a shame other people don't like them, and for understandable reasons, but for me personally, this is exactly what I wanted. At least the rose biollante is better than this, I mean I don’t hate this Godzilla figure but I’m not interested and even more when I saw the reviews (And yes I have a super7 rose biollante of my own)
God, Super7 sucks, lol. No idea why collectors put up with their BS. Overpriced, low QC. Nonsense. All around, Super7 just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I know companies like Neca have their fair share of issues, especially QC, but for what you get the molds, designs, paint, etc is there and the prices mostly make sense. But Super7? It seems like I hear more bad than good. That's a $15 fig at best.
Ok see alot reviews til I get mine price being to much for what we got super 7you owe us next wave better deliver my friend at least nothing broke off or to lose and comes apart like some of s.h.ma has in past it's not so fragile lol which I had so sad but true I don't trust s h. Ma no matter how cool the figure is I can't trust them hyia is king 👑 as of now waiting on my Rodan and skull crawler and main one all eyes on hyia King Ghidorah but I'm still gonna give super 7 a chance still we got some more from them I want burning Godzilla and Mecha Godzilla along with Destorya which is looking so bad ass 9inch tall that will make or break if they give us something good hope so that's my main guy I want them to give us surpassing all this so please do us right with him
Not in love but I don’t hate them. They aren’t as good as Hiya, SHMA, or even Neca, and they are definitely overpriced for what you’re getting, but I’m reserving full judgment for when I actually get them in hand.
For me i was just hoping for a figure with fun factor, if they just improved the articulation in some spots it would have hit the mark. But it failed miserably haha

The sculpt looks good, it just needs a little matte spray.
There’s one problem with the toymakers at Super7, they didn’t care about giving demonstrations of the articulations.

Tail gap? No, you just push the tail more and you have no more gap. I have the burning figure which is pretty much a repaint.

I’m trying to find a good figure of the “classic” look of Godzilla for under $100 any recommendations?
