- Well you have seen Jimmy and I build a few engines, 521 cubic inch big block Ford, 388 cubic inch small block Chevy stroker, and a 1970 LT1 350 small block Chevy. You’ve also seen us use our custom engine run stand to perform the engine break in process after the engine building process. In this video we go over what an engine test stand is, how it works, and what we use to make it all work. We spend a lot of time building engines and a lot of hard-earned money goes into them, it’s better to be safe than sorry when that engine leaves the shop!

Awesome video brother! I'm slowly but surely making progress on mine. Can't wait to fire up my 451 Big Block Mopar on it!
Right on! That’s awesome!
That was amazing to watch. Keep up the great work. 😃😃
Thank you! Will do! 🏁🏁🏁

Thanks Vino!
I have made one in the past out of a C body mopar front stub frame.

Its a great engine test stand and better its universal 👍
Indeed it is! best tool we have built!
Awesome information, brother. One of these would always be helpful.
Glad it was helpful! There is lot we use this for off camera. I’ll show that sometime if I don’t forget 🤣
@@2HacksGarage lol sweet.
Excellent stand...love how you guys have it set up for any small block that comes up...I really like the water pump part.
Glad you like it! The pump made things so much easier

Nice engine test stand Jeff.
Great job.
Look like you have all the bases covered for a good test and break-in.
Thanks for sharing.
Take care, Ed.
Thanks Ed!!! There are a few things we might improve, but for now it works great!
Nice setup but what are you going to do if you have a mopar engine where the starter bolts to the transmission?
