@Partha P BVan de Beek is an attacking midfielder who can also play No. 8. He isnt a Holding midfielder by any means. Blame Jose for selling Daley Blind who was ideal for what Solskjaer is trying to do. Now there arent even players like him in the world. Maybe Declan Rice or at best Zakaria, Teun Koopmeiners as the closest bet.

Let's take a second to appreciate what Cavani brought to the team. If you remember, he was the last minute signing, kind of like Ighalo was last year. But by being brilliant he left Ole no chance but to start him! Beside obviously being a top notch striker with both head and feet, he also works hard in defence which our "young and talented" strikers often choose not to do.
He always was one tmof the very best striker in the world I think Ole didn't start him for the start cuz he was coming of a injury or something cuz martial is not at his level

Fred is so essential for this team and people don’t even realise. Even from last season I could see his work rate and desire. People don’t realise he can use both feet and always starts the play by passing forward. Notice how the midfield struggle without him because he’s the only one with the energy to get up and down and break the lines
And most goals usual starts from his interceptions and his pressing..
