    Hello ! I’m trying to figure out how to cut out the holes to pull the string through the garland I’m doing, did you cut out the holes with the cricut or hole punch ? Thank you love your vids!

    • @craftingwithsoul8624
      @craftingwithsoul8624  Před rokem

      Hi! I did it just by adding small circles then using the “slice” function so that it cuts out the hole as well. It would definitely be easier to use a hole punch but I didn’t have one lol!

    • @craftingwithsoul8624
      @craftingwithsoul8624  Před 3 lety +2

      Josh I believe some of my first few videos have that but it becomes so repetitive I just leave it out. After you have your project done and go to make it you will see all of the pieces on mats by color so you’ll add the color cardstock it is cutting and so on! I hope that helps!

    Hello! This turned out beautiful! I'd like to do this for my kid but I'm very new to cricut and literally all things cricut. Can you help me understand what the purpose of all the layering in the design space was if we just had to go back and glue it and layer it physically? Would it be possible to get the same result and not have to do all the layering and things in the design space?

    • @craftingwithsoul8624
      @craftingwithsoul8624  Před 2 lety

      Hi!! Sorry for the delayed response but it’s just to have a visual of what I’m working on. When you’re designing the banner you obviously wanna have all of your pieces sorted out so that when you go to cut everything out you know all of your pieces are there 😊

    • @craftingwithsoul8624
      @craftingwithsoul8624  Před 3 lety

      Hi! Once you complete your design and go to “make it” it will separate the pieces to cut by colors so you’ll just change out the colored paper until the project is complete 😊 the system will prompt you to continue until it’s done then it’ll say finish

      Hi!! So sorry I thought I had responded to this 😥 you have to have a printer set up with your computer so when you click “make it” you will be able to send it then load onto your machine. I buy my cardstock from Michaels or Joann and always use 65lb or above for anything more sturdy - Michaels has packs with different shades of each color that are great!
